Pre-CGI Rhino spotted on set. Not much being given away in terms of how he's going to look in post-production but I'm quite impressed by the sheer bulk of the costume alone.

< B U M P > This is a good call. The book, though not terrible, is a very pulpy affair with a variety of distracting subplots that add nothing to the overall story. The movie on the other hand, still holds up as a classic. Agree with this one, if just for the fact that Goldfinger's plan is to ruin all the gold in Fort Knox, as opposed to his aim of stealing it in the book. Bond even points out in the film that the latter would be implausible.

One reputation as a big-game bottler shaken off by Robben, another acquired by the referee for not issuing Dante with a deserved second yellow for the penalty incident. Like many before him, the ref decided that because it was a huge final, some of the rules didn't actually have to be applied properly. He saw the foul, gave the penalty and realised Dante would have to walk, but didn't have the gumption to see it through. Such a tough break for Dortmund. Still, a breathtaking game with a brilliant atmosphere. Hats off to both teams and their fans.

Also, Champions League football now on offer to future Europa League winners. So now in theory a club could win the Europa, take part in the Champions League the following season, stall in the group stages, drop back down to the Europa and continue the cycle while also dropping down their domestic league. An unlikely scenario I suppose, but a weird one all the same.

At the back, Shawcross and Pepe hit the La Liga fops with assorted 'reducers' while Pulis attempts to accuse all and sundry of play-acting. Lionel Messi finally decides to give this Premier League lark a try and scores 120 goals in his debut season for a newly minted Arsenal, to cries of 'aha, but could he do it on a cold wet night at the Bernabeu?' from the rogues gallery on Soccer Saturday. The Stoke board, having been turned down by Roberto Martinez, Gus Poyet, Pep Guardiola and Arsene Wenger, revert to the 'more of the same' approach and get Lawrence Dallaglio in.

Despite Famke's presence, this is turning into a bit of a question mark for me. It appears to be set post 'Last Stand' so clearly, it's not quite the movie we thought we were getting. The latest trailer makes it look better than the first couple did, though.
JJ unveiled a previously unseen clip from STID during a recent interview with Conan O'Brien, featuring (for reasons not altogether clear to me) John Harrison angrily taking a shower to hilarious dramatic music.
