The fans deserve a collective medal for watching what their team turned into under Lambert. His time at Norwich yielded a side jumping with craft and positivity, but his spell at Villa seemed to mirror that of Martin O'Neill at Sunderland. Martin became so entrenched in a mindset of not wanting to lose that his cautiousness started to bleed into the way we played. As the months ticked by, he got more and more negative, leaving the squad devoid of confidence. That kind of decline can be hard to stop once it starts, although there's still a very decent team in there if someone can get Benteke firing on all cylinders. Who would you like to see come in, Fred?

The Avengers, Age of Ultron, Infinity War & Endgame (2012-2019)
If it comes down to a straight choice between another Peter Parker origin story or a Miles Morales one then I'd go with Miles, but ideally Garfield would just arrive in the MCU fully-formed. I like the idea of a new Peter movie that also launches Miles for the future, with a view to a big 'passing of the torch' moment that really means something.

The Avengers, Age of Ultron, Infinity War & Endgame (2012-2019)
'ASM2' was 2014's 'Man of Steel' in terms of how divided critical opinions and fan reactions were, which was a shame as I'd hoped for it to generate some real momentum for the series. I for one enjoyed it, not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but bold, punchy and generally likeable. I must say though, I'm on board for Spidey being a part of the MCU for the foreseeable future, as well as Feige having an influence over the direction of future movies. On a side note, it's looking unlikely that Andrew Garfield will be a part of the new film. Sony is reportedly now thinking of building it around Miles Morales instead of Peter Parker.

Note to self: be careful what you wish for! I've always said, I can live with being outclassed. Last night, we were beaten by an inferior team with a vastly superior work ethic. It was the type of game that any side worth their salt would have had wrapped up inside half an hour, but we seem incapable of making fast starts. Yet another case of one step forward and two steps back, every time we try and capitalise on an opportunity to slingshot ourselves up the league and away from danger, we unravel completely.

The Avengers, Age of Ultron, Infinity War & Endgame (2012-2019)
I would have preferred for Sony to have just sold the rights back to Disney/Marvel, but I'm cautiously optimistic at the possibilities of this deal. Presumably, a Spider-Man cameo in 'Civil War' is now virtually a certainty.

The Avengers, Age of Ultron, Infinity War & Endgame (2012-2019)
I don't believe the figures being bandied about for a second, $20m was the (then) world record salary Peter Jackson received to direct 'King Kong' and that was only after 'Return of the King' had cleaned up at the Oscars. Jolie isn't that much of a draw as a director yet, but all things considered, it's an idea I could get behind. Her involvement would be a nice feather in Marvel's cap after the whole Edgar Wright debacle. Although of course, the actress they get to play Captain Marvel is going to be the bigger issue overall.

Fantastic Four (2015)
Yeah, I thought 'Chronicle' was a little gem of a movie, albeit one that was hidden beneath the irritating and unnecessarily distracting 'handheld footage' format. I really like the idea of Grimm emerging from rock, instead of just transforming into it. Should make for a great spectacle on the big screen. Obviously we don't have much to go on at the moment, but I get the feeling that if the trailer gives us an accurate feel of the tone and direction then we'll be getting, at very least, an enjoyable sci-fi flick. Also, Kate Mara's patented 'antelope that knows there's a lion nearby' look in full effect.

The Avengers, Age of Ultron, Infinity War & Endgame (2012-2019)
I quite like this idea. I haven't seen 'Unbroken' but I've heard good things about it, and we could do with having more prominent female film directors in mainstream Hollywood.

What with it being awards season and all, congratulations are surely in order for the producers of 'Harry Kane', the heartwarming underdog story of a plucky young lad who, on account of defying expectations, scoring a lot of goals, 'facking running about a bit' and (most crucially of all) being English, becomes a media darling. The actor playing the central character shows great commitment to his role, although the writers will have to be mindful in future of keeping the plot grounded and not making the storylines too far-fetched. Perhaps look for someone to lodge a £40m bid for him in the shark-jumping second sequel.

Fantastic Four (2015)
What do we think about this one, then? The whole furore surrounding Doom seems to made it fair game for an avalanche of hate and criticism, but whatever people might think about that, they've delivered a really impressive trailer. It appears to be doing everything possible to distance itself from the cartoonish and somewhat silly FF movies of a decade ago, and while some of the changes are going to be controversial, others look pretty refreshing. Overall, I'll reserve judgement until I see a bit more.

Fantastic Four (2015)
Fantastic Four (stylized as Fant4stic) is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. It is the third theatrical Fantastic Four film to be distributed by 20th Century Fox and a reboot of the Fantastic Four film franchise. Directed by Josh Trank, the film stars Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell, and Toby Kebbell. Simon Kinberg and Jeremy Slater wrote the screenplay from a story conceived by Kinberg and Trank. In Fantastic Four, the team must learn to harness their abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. In August 2009, the development of the film was announced. In July 2012, Trank was hired to direct and Slater to write the screenplay. In October 2013, Kinberg was hired as a co-writer. By January 2014, Kinberg finished rewriting the script and casting began. Principal photography commenced in May 2014 and concluded in August the same year. The film was shot in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Fantastic Four is scheduled for release on August 7, 2015 in North America, in 2D and 3D theaters. Premise When four people teleport to an alternate universe, which alters their physical form and grants them new abilities, they must learn to harness their abilities and work together as a team to save the Earth from a familiar enemy. Cast Miles Teller as Reed Richards / Mr. Fantastic: Teller said of the role, "When I read the script, I didn't feel like I was reading this larger-than-life, incredible superhero tale. These are all very human people that end up having to become I guess what is known as the Fantastic Four. So for me it was just a really good story and gives me an opportunity to play something different from my own skin." Kate Mara as Susan Storm / Invisible Woman: Mara said that she was supposed to read the Fantastic Four comic books for preparation. However, director Josh Trank suggested to her that it was unnecessary with writer Simon Kinberg adding, that the film is not based on a single issue of the Fantastic Four comic books. Mara has also said that she intended to focus on making her character "as real as possible". Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm / Human Torch: Jordan said of the cast, "We're more or less a bunch of kids that had an accident and we have disabilities now that we have to cope with, and try to find a life afterwards – try to be as normal as we can." Jordan previously worked with Trank for 2012's Chronicle and according to Trank, Jordan's character in Chronicle shared characteristics to Johnny Storm. Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm / The Thing: Trank said Grimm has a childhood element in the film who was an alienated kid from a "tough" neighborhood. Toby Kebbell as Victor Domashev / Doom: An anti-social programmer known as "Doom" online. Kebbell said that while playing the role, he concentrated the most on the voice of the character. He added, "on the animated series, they never got his voice what I imagined it to be when I read the comics as a little boy. What I spent the majority of my time doing was not just being a fan, but being a bit of pedant and making sure I got exactly what I always wanted to see.

Promises to be another interesting weekend in La Liga. Victory for Ancelotti at the Calderon would almost certainly kill off whatever lingering title hopes Atleti still hold, while a home win would allow Simeone back into the frame and give a turbo boost to Barca, who could end the round just a point off the top. Provided of course, that they can negotiate an awkward trip to a snowy Bilbao. I'll be flipping a coin on Sunday - heads Bilbao/Barca, tails AFCON final.
