  1. I love her full breasts. Good for Britain for picking her! I don't think that a girl like that would win Miss America/USA. Guess they're more open-minded about those things over there.
  2. Actually, that raises a good point. Has Yasmeen even worked in the 21rst century? If not, that's another thing I have against the 21rst century...
  3. showing everyone what golden globes look like Accepting the award for "Most Astonishingly Perfect Beautiful Bare Breasts in a Film or Video".
  4. Marissa looks stunning here. That dress is very flattering, and I love the flesh-toned pumps also. I mean, I'll defer to feminine judgment on shoes, but for once she's wearing nice shoes at one of these things, rather than gladiator sandals or something. I loved Dominique Piek when she was in the ish a few years back, but I thought she was a one-and-done SI girl - I'm surprised to see her at a retrospective. Rebecca just looks older, and Botoxed.
  5. Your welcome! I've got more on the way. She is so sexy, and just exquisite to look at. She's the girl that made the Victoria's Secret brand. Sure there were others in her time, like Frederique, but if you had to point to just one, she's the obvious choice. I collect her fanatically.
  6. I know that, LOL. Just making a joke about how sisterly they look in the photo. I love shots which pair two beautiful women whose beauty is similar/complementary. I call them "pretty pairings"; this is probably my favorite one.
  7. I beg the indulgence of a large picture. Longer hair than I've usually seen her wearing.
  8. With her sister Monica.
  9. Lovely! She just kills it in these brightly-colored maillots, doesn't she?
  10. US Vogue 87 Andrea Blanche:
  11. "Swimsuitologist" has an interesting theory about SI shots like this one. Made sense to me! See swimsuitologist.blogspot.com/2011/01/show-some-restraint.html Didn't know Marisa had done the guitar-pick bikini as well. I love Marisa!
  12. That brown skintight dress (lovely!) certainly looks like it could be a VS dress, one of those ones with a built-in bra. I haven't seen it before I think. In the Versace shot directly above, she's wearing the same hairstyle as the Sept '94 ELLE shot in post #1379, so the time frame makes sense.
  13. This one is new to me. It's just crazy! I love that "body lace" look... photo hosting sites
  14. Oh my. That beach shot of Bar in the black bikini is incredible. Never seen it before Bar's guitar-pick bikini was the only SI novelty bikini I ever liked. Lovely the way the chain makes a little indentation of the soft fullness of her hip. Some more hourglass shots of her:
  15. Definitely! It's the combination of sex appeal and class that makes her so sexy.
  16. Here are some more shots of Nicole. The bathing suit shot is from Supermodels in the Rain Forest
  17. A comic book? Lol. Is there a link for that? Nicole never seems to have become that big. If that stunning, Cindy-ish NY magazine cover (post #7) didn't launch her career, I don't know what would have. The Esquire mag cover I remember; I never knew that was her. She reminds me of Lorri Bagley in several of her pics, e.g. those editorials at the top of the thread.
  18. Hi all. I remember seeing Nicole in WWW pics from the film "Supermodels in the Rain Forest" with Tyra and Frederique back in '95. I thought she was stunning, but haven't been able to find much since. I do have this though:
  19. I'm just curious how you found out her name in '86, given that she wasn't well-known yet back then. Or did you just see that face and become obsessed? And look for her everywhere until you could match a name to it? I might have first heard her name in late '87, I'm not sure. But yes, by '88 she was everywhere. That's when my obsession started. I don't think I've ever seen a picture of her in a swimwear catalog from back then...
  20. Wow, these are great, thanks! Stef's site has #2 "Fishnet" but I like the contrast on yours better. #8 "Clouds" I don't think I've seen before, and #5 "Smoke", I'm sure I haven't. Nice!
  21. 1986! That's amazing, cylnz, and welcome! You were two years ahead of me. So far as I know, she wasn't well-known then. Where did you first see her? Her Herb Ritts layout was what did it for me; I'd love to see what pictures of her that first got you hooked on Cindy.
  22. I think the sexiness is the key difference between them. I think Christy's one of the most beautiful women ever, I've got tremendous respect for her and for the taste of her fans, but she never had the same visceral impact on me that Cindy did, and I don't collect her pics fanatically the way I do Cindy's. A lot of women I know just love her, though. Here's Christy herself on the subject: ""Because I'm not very glamorous it didn't feel true to me. ... Plus, having to wear all that make-up - what a waste! Cindy was much more that kind of persona; I don't think the 'sexy girl' thing is my image at all - I get more attention from females." 23. Beautiful! Especially the red one.
