  1. Very nice; haven't seen these before:
  2. Look at what SI missed by never using her:
  3. Thanks, Shepherd - she looks great!
  4. One of my most favorite pics of Jill. Posted it quite awhile back, but it's no longer available for some reason. Gives me an excuse to post it large. Goddess of the tulip-cup bra:
  5. Cindy's style of beauty is still very influential, as it should be. Stock photo, unknown model. Her makeup is perfect; it just needs a mole painted on. There should be Cindy impersonators, LOL, just as there are Elvis impersonators. Don't you think?
  6. I do love a hair hang-down shot. Especially of Cindy's hair, which was the most beautiful ever:
  7. Maybe because in the ones they picked she was looking into the camera, and they therefore seemed more "personable" and more her image? Anyway, here they are. I really do think she was one of the greatest bikini models of all time, in addition to being a great cover and editorial girl. "An SI of one", is how I describe her!
  8. An outtake from her '94 calendar - I recognize the bikini with the frilly stuff on it. What a body she had!
  9. Random web find. Love the girl, the blue string-panties and matching cami-bra, the lipstick, the mirror. Yum!

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen that kind of mesh/see-through side-boob before. Fascinating. She's still so gorgeous. I don't know anything about her acting, but I think she's one of the most beautiful and appealing-looking women in Hollywood. Why she isn't more famous for it I have no idea. Thanks for all the recent great pics.
  11. Who is this? I tried Model ID; no luck. It's from the early 80's. Such a beautiful girl! She must have done a lot of work later on in the 80's...
  12. gif from the famous "Friends" episode:
  13. Some more Jilliciousness for your viewing pleasure. Cindy Crawford has said that Jill was the one who really made the VS brand in the beginning. Can't disagree with an authority like that. Warning: *nudity*. A little nipplage that you have to look hard to see.
  14. Another large pic. But I like it:
  15. Old VS shot I had not seen before. How beautiful is she here?
  16. Dominique Issermann, Vogue Paris 1991. She has such a feminine take on female beauty; I always enjoy her work.
  17. Unknown, random web-find. I could just kiss her all over, she's so pretty!
  18. Glamour France, June 1993, Marc Hispard "Heather, la belle aux pieds nus" ("Heather, the beauty with bare feet"):
  19. She does have kids - she quit to start a family, I guess. I searched the NY Times archives for mentions of her and found this from an article in Apr '97: "Designers may be appalled at models' fees and agency shenanigans, but the knife cuts both ways. Many won't touch the once-hot and still beautiful Yasmeen Ghauri or Karen Mulder, neither of whom is photographed much anymore." I also found this in a comments section for an article in Jan '08. I can only retrieve this fragment: "As for Yasmeen Ghauri, if there is one model who's most likely not making a comeback or an occasional appearance it is she. I don't think many ..." Frustrating. Finish that sentence how you will. But I think really she had her fun, and now she'd done.
  20. Lovely pic; one of her smouldering ones. Here's a couple of insanely cute ones from VS. She had so many looks, she was such an asset for them.
  21. Yasmeen inspired a comic character named "Jasmine Rashad". Resemblance is obvious:
  22. Wikipedia lists her as having retired in '96, but that must have only been retired from runway. She was cover of '97 VS Christmas sale, and cover in an Aug '98 VS. I never knew what to make of her '97 SI TOC or the calendars for that matter - I thought those could have been left over shots from prior years, but probably that's wrong. I'd bet that the letter section shot was one of those faux-irate "what happened to my favorite girl from last time?" letters, which they answered with a "here you go" picture. I don't know how popular she was with the SI readership - I always figured she was too sophisticated a taste for their core demographic. But now I see from your search engine that she was cover of calendar '95. And now, a good scan of that letter-section shot:
