The thing with Alex is that she became another generic very thin blond girl. She is not high fashion and will never be and I am not saying that as it is a bad thing. And to answer Prettyvet question even if it's not directed at moi : she should have kept at doing commercial work at the first place and built a nice career of her own around what she is: a tall, sexy, blond, American & healthy model and then, after 2 or 3 years trying to be more "high fashion" and get bigger jobs and contracts. I would say a career à la Candee Swimswiminmypool. That is basically the Kate Upton way except Kate made more noise earlier in her career and used youtube videos. Also there is the Emily Ratajkowski way which is getting nude early and becoming famous because you have the hottest body on Earth but I wouldn't recommend that unless you were Emily Ratajkowski. I guess Candice got famous because of the constant exposure from VS. That was nice for her. At least Alexandria has people talking about how she should be more famous. Did I say famous? Insta, youtube and social media bullshit famous? I am talking about the old fashion way to get jobs. Castings. And if someone say "no" to you, go see someone else Have your passport ready to go to castings anywhere on this planet. Work your ass off to be sure all the clients on that same planet know who u are. Candice got famous because she worked her ass off as a commercial model before she got VS. She was just a fitting model for the VS show "girl you are not good enough to walk the show yet but we noticed you..." This how a model making her way to success. I really think young models today are really not strong enough to say no to the fashion diktats like Josie & Laetitia did. If u don't have a strong personality to stand up for yourself and who you are, you are just blending into the "flock" of girls. no you are wrong about that but... ok.

I do not compare them but their modeling "niche" > they can work for the same brand and magazines. For the fashion shows it's another level for Blanca.

I don't mind her body, but to me she became a social media girl doing modeling job from time to time. You have models who started their career 1 or 2 year ago and they booked so many jobs (Blanca Padilla is one of them) And Alex could have done almost 70 % of the same jobs because they both have the same "niche" when it come to editorials and advertising/commercials/brands - Even if Blanca exotic face and personality, gives her extra points to get the jobs over Alex. if she was giving as much energy to go to castings ALL OVER THE WORLD as she gives to take selfies at the gym or in public restrooms she would be on top right now. Her agent is also maybe to blame. Just my not so humble opinion of course.
