  1. Oh I absolutely agree with you, first albums are usually hard to beat. "No Angel" was a great album full of hits and it is completely different from the second one. "Life For Rent" is more "adult" (first album has more songs about developing relationships and being in love and the second one has more songs about break-ups and problematic relationships and complaints), but still very good and deserving attention
  2. But this is probably all-time favorite lyrics - "Time" by Pink Floyd: Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain You are young and life is long, and there is time to kill today And then one day you find ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
  3. I love "Pure Shores" by All Saints, such a great song and unforgettable tune, it reminds me of the carefree early 2000's "White Flag" is a great song too, I love the whole "Life For Rent" album, I was such a big fan of Dido when it came out. Some favorite lyrics from it: "Life For Rent": While my heart is a shield and I won't let it down While I am so afraid to fail so I won't even try Well, how can I say I'm alive? "Stoned": If you won't let me fall for you Then you won't see the best that I would love to do for you Instead you will be missing me when I go 'Cause I'm bored of hanging out in your cold

  16. @parisienne yesterday I was so sure it's Isabelle Townsend in this ad and now I think it can be any of three of them (Isabelle, Diana or Barbara) A hat that covers the forehead doesn't make it easier. And all ladies were active models in 1986. I came upon a recent picture of Diana and her expression looks very similar to the one from this ad, but Isabelle did HR in 1987... really hard to tell
  17. Maybe Isabelle Townsend? Looks like her and she was in other ads by Helena Rubinstein
  18. @Minerva13 @Povad thank you so much for this topic And thanks a lot everyone for all the posts Never heard of her before, nice to know one more girl from USSR did quite well in Europe. She is absolutely adorable in L'Air du Temps commercial, reminded me of a young Alizée. And she played in the "Highlander" (only one episode, but still), just like my fave Rochelle Redfield I'll try to post her runway pics when I have more time. Hopefully we'll discover more shows she did.
