So her excitement was for the commercial, this is great for Sara! I'm happy VS is using her more for mainline, hopefully she'll be done with Pink now and focus on the mainline section.

The only one who dropped VS for a better contract was Doutzen and it was mostly a family involved decision, everyone else has booked contracts long after they left/got dumped. Anyhow could be something, could be nothing but Taylor Hill is in Miami now too so IDK if she'll be shooting for VS or is just a coincidence.

VS does not underpay their models The VSFS does underpay or not pay at all, but catalog work? That's where the money is, there's a reason why 90% of models start their career and see VS as the ultimate goal, because it's big money + exposure that leads you to even more money. Also i don't find the lineup lackluster, I actually think Jac & Stella are among the best models VS has gotten in years. Opinions are subjective, the reality is that they must be selling really well, otherwise they wouldn't be all over VS site & etc. There's a reason why VS decided to put certain models in the Swim Special and it's because they known they sell, they already tried taking a risk with Chanel & Karlie and it didn't pay off and their HF backgrounds didn't matter. Announcing unknown girls as Angels will start creating buzz for them, y'all forget that Adriana, Alessandra, Candice, Behati & etc were no-name models before VS too and VS made them and that is a formula that clearly has worked for them better than signing HF darlings.

^ Elsa didn't because she has been under contract with VS for three years so it was just an upgrade, she has been credited in the show since 2013. However, I can see VS making announcements for new girs now because they just lost three girs, so they need to hype the new Angels and get their names in the press.

^ Pretty much. I feel like Caleb & the rest of KOL would rather shoot themselves than do the whole VS circus, they did just the SI launch but it was a private event.

IF I could get a lineup mixing the models I think suit VS the best ... Elsa Hosk, Nina Agdal, Sara Sampaio, Emily Didonato, Jourdan Dunn, Alexandria Morgan & Gigi Hadid. That's it, nothing else needed, I would fire every single of the current Angels except Elsa and make a new group.

The compassion between 2004 & 2014 is wrong in so many levels o.o, these women were the same age yet most of the ones from 2014 could pass as the much younger sisters of the 2004 generation

I think VS should start contracting SI girls and call it a day, get Gigi, Nina & Emily Didonato. But that ain't happening so I'm fine with a six girls lineup.

Behati is getting the FB no doubt and Maroon 5 will perform, no way VS will miss this chance.

My guess is her own line of bras/swimwear with H&M...Am I at least close? Yup. Close enough. It wasn't just the money tho, Doutzen wants to raise her kids in Holland, she and Sunnery just got a big house there to have the family and Doutzen was looking for a job that paid well and kept her in Europe so that's what she got. She had her entire family attending the VS show last year because it would be her last, it was really cute.

Romee is on Miami too. Ed also just commented about Doutzen confirming she left because she had a bigger offer in Europe. I know what the offer is but IDK if i'm allowed to tell yet

Sara started doing VS in mid-2012 I think, by that time Elsa had already under Pink contract for over a year so they did not start working for VS at the same time time at all. I think a possible reason Sara can't be a VS Angel right now is because she is with Calzedonia and I don't think they'd be happy to have their spokesperson parading on TV to promote VS swimwear considering VS is trying to sell in Europe which is Calzedonia's market. It does suck tho, because I think Sara would be perfect as an Angel, she has the looks and the personality for it + she seems to do well with people at least based in social networks.

These are the most recent VS shoots I've seen going on in case anyone cares. Miami: Sara, Elsa, Behati, Romee, Jasmine & Jac. NYC: Stella, Romee, Elsa, Behati, Josephine & Vita. Vita & Romee have been shooting a lot lately and it looks like Candice is still working less for VS, which is great, girlfriend paid her duties already and deserves that easy money.
