Chanel is the only model I'm 100% sure that VS decided to cut tbh, anyone else we'll never truly know but Chanel got zero love -
Karlie's last shoot with VS was in October so she won't be in campaigns for two full years at all, year & half at best. IDK about Chanel because I never cared about her.

Marisa did three full years, Izabel decided to break the contract according to what she said. Chanel IDK but Karlie did not make it to two years either, say she was announced in March 2013 and she was done already by the time of the show because she did not shoot anything since the commercial, I think they agreed she should walk because of Taylor. From what I understand, this are the shows each model walked as an Angel which is basically what indicates when they were signed: - Adriana: 2000-? - Alessandra: 2004-? - Karolina: 2006-2008 (she was signed after the show was done but before it aired, that's why she is in the credits) - Selita: 2006-2008 - Izabel: 2006 & 2007 - Miranda: 2007-2012 - Doutzen: 2008-2014 - Marisa: 2007-2009 - Candice: 2010-? - Rosie: 2010 - Chanel: 2010 & 2011ish - Erin: 2010-2013ish - Behati: Pink 2008-2011 / Angel 2012-? - Lily: 2010-? - Lindsay: 2011-2014ish - Karlie: 2013 & 2014 - Elsa: Pink 2011-2014 / Angel 2015-?

Here's Ed's statement This basically confirms what we knew: The first contract is NOT for three years but for a shorter time. My guess it's Karlie got a one year trial that she & VS agreed to keep going until last year's show and then be done.

So far in Miami: Romee (I would say we need to keep an eye on her, she's been working a lot), Jasmine, Behati, Sara & Elsa. I think the Angel lineup will be up after the Swim Special airs.

^ Actually if things keep going this way in three years Rachel could get promoted to Angel, I agree she needs to go. She's a pretty girl but that's it, Gigi would be better for the job so I'm glad they are using her for the event. Or Taylor Hill, I'm happy with either of them 100% Accurate. Jourdann would be simply perfect as an Angel.

Now wait for the VS statement "We still love Karlie and she will always be an Angel in our hearts, we already invited her to walk this year's show etc etc" and then she won't show up at the show and some lame excuse will come.

They'll add at least two more girls before the year is over. Probably two from the Swim special, Martha & Jasmine already did events but no contract yet. We'll have to see about Stella & Jac.

What is really boring is to see the same people bitching about the same models all the time, why even bothering to acknowledge someone you don't like? o.o Anyhow, it looks interesting-ish I hope the interviews are not the same as always, I'm mostly interested in the new girls because I feel like this is a test to see who goes well with the audience and who doesn't. We all know Adriana "wanted to be a doctor and was really shy", that Candice "grew up in a small farm in SA and was really shy but super sexually driven", that Lily "is half-British and is the ultimate rock chick", etc etc etc so I hope the new girls get decent screentime so we can see a bit more of them. And I doubt they'll make an announcement for Elsa, technically she is not new to the brand, she has been under contract since 2011 she's just probably making more money now.

Nina had the exact same crew as Robyn, Jessica & Chanel. She's just a better swimsuit model and nailed her shoot, she also has been working with James Macari for four years so they already know how to work together. I think Jessica Gomes had the best location but she still did meh just like every year IMO. Overall I think the girls from Route 66 hapd the best crew in terms of hair, make up, photography and everything. Then you have the girls from Hawaii, West Coast & Bodypaint, those are the girls most of us have been complaining for one reason or another and they have something in common: Same crews. Photographers, stylist, etc it was all done by the same people who always work with Yu Tsai. So yeah, here's hoping everyone in that team will get cut from SI, because they really did screw the models.
