Hey, party peoples, it's announcement time! What was the last magazine cover to feature little Miss Bar? Anyone? Well, I don't know either, but I can tell you right now that little Miss Bar is currently the cover girl for the January 2009 issue of Malibu Magazine. But before you scramble out of your way to find this issue, don't even bother to look for it at your newsstand 'cuz you probably won't find it (unless you live in Southern California). But lucky for you, I have the issue in my possession and I will be making some UHQ scans for it. She has a 10-page edit and all the pictures focus more on her natural beauty with little to no make-up or any skimpy clothing. The only thing that's kinda honked up about this issue is that her name is spelled "Bar Rafaeli" instead of "Bar Refaeli". I'll be right back after these commercials!

Well, a few of those pictures appear as adverts in the February/March 2009 issue of Modern Bride (4 pages to be exact). As far as I know, the pics used in the ad are not new but then again, its not like any of you knew where to find it. So if anyone wants to scour through the bridal section of your local newsstand, look for the Feb/March 2009 issue with (both) Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway on the cover. Whoever you are, be a good citizen and scan it for us. I would do it, but I don't want to, so you're pretty much screwed.

The second version of this Miracle Bra commercial is 30 seconds long (*snicker*) and features more illicit* footage of Adriana sitting on the couch and stairs. Unfortunately, this 30-second version is NOT in High Def but I will post a (non) High Def version of the commercial later next week. (*Illicit footage not included)

HAH! I knew that cover looked kinda familiar to me! It turns out the picture used in that cover was also used in the Malibu editorial but it was a black & white greyscale of just Marisa's eyes. Where the hell do they show these commercials? I've never once seen an A|X commercial. Ever. Its definitely not on American TV, that's for sure. Or is it?

From a filmmaker's standpoint, the drill instructor segment of PINK PLANET is just filled with technical goofs. The segment is barely a minute long and it is just horrificly edited. It doesn't really make the segment worse, but it is quite noticeable. Here's the breakdown: As soon as Lindsay arrives, there are two models standing there equalling three (Lindsay, Edita, Flavia). In the next shot, there's ANOTHER model that magically appears equalling four (Lindsay Edita, Flavia, Erin). In the next shot after that, its back to three but not with the original model from the first shot (Lindsay, Edita, Erin)! Also, when Behati smacks the ruler onto the board, she obviously smacks it in the middle of the board. In the next shot, the ruler is at the bottom of the board where it says "RUNWAY" in black marker. Another thing is that the word "RUNWAY" on the board is nearly erased off because Behati probably had to do multiple takes. Believe me, these goofs bug me everytime I watch PINK PLANET. The girls are nice, but the goofs are so bad. Anyway, I don't know if anyone has mentioned this (probably did), but the last song that was playing during the catwalk finale was from Robbie Williams "I Want To Entertain You".

@Pink: I'll watch and see if it appears. @TG: Trust me, my screencaps are not of the best quality (nobody's ever is) considering that they are simple JPEGs. If I were to post them as PNGs, then we're cookin'. I double-checked to see the full bitrate and it is exactly 17.448 mbps @ 1080i. A bit less than what I initially said it was.

Check this out, the native Mpeg-2 file, which I use for my vids, is uncompressed @ 1080i High Def. In terms of actual bitrate of the mpeg file, I think it runs at about 25-30 mbps. I might be a bit off, but its not like I'm keeping track. And you said that last year's show was 35 mbps? The compression on that broadcast was hella-terrible, there is NO way that show was running at that bitrate! There are Blu-Ray movies that run at that bitrate that look better than that. BTW, TG, just to see how some people encode their videos, I've downloaded THREE different versions of the VSFS 2008 from different sources and ALL of them seem to favor lower quality. Some of the video bitrates go as low as 1500 kbps and every audio bitrate is @ 128 kbps MP3 format. I surely hope you didn't use one of those for your encode.

If you're expecting to D/L the full 1080i show, then that Mininova link is your only best bet. I don't know what the quality is like, but you take what you can get, right? OR....you can wait for my versions. I will be posting various clips and interludes of the VSFS 2008 in 1080i HD and if you know which order they are in, you can then append all the videos together and you'll have the entire show! This way you can forego the 5GB D/L period and just D/L my stuff at your own leisure. I've already posted the "Worst Pick Up Lines" 1080i clip on the previous page, so D/L that one. The next one I'll post will be the "Who The F*ck Is Victoria?" clip followed by the "Dangerous" catwalk.
