  4. This movie, coming out at ANY time would have us drawing parallels to our situation simply because we are dissatisfied with our political state. Sure many of us hate Bush, hate the war, hate this, that or the other...blah blah blah...our shit is pretty screwed up and it's NOT one man's fault, nor one party's fault. It's the culmination of many years of compromise and leaders doing crap like adding their pet projects (and the funding requirements) on to the stack while not cutting back where required. Anyway, it is my view that the US is eventually headed toward a revolution or probably (something I fear will be the case) decline due to internal economic crumbling. One thing that will save us from ever being overtaken on our own soil is our right to bear arms (but that is another topic ). Let's celebrate this movie (whilst I remove my rectal rod) for allowing us to experience vicariously expresion of our frustration and the lashing out against our goverment's evils, elitism and arrogance.
  5. Tim Sylvia Vs. Andrei Arlovski - Won by decision...Yep, I called it! It wasn't a very exciting fight at all though. The most exciting part is the satillite feed kept going in and out and the crowd was getting rowdy. Tito Ortiz Vs. Ken Shamrock - We knew this was going to happen but not so dang fast! Holy shit! Shamrock was getting POUNDED! Dan Christison Vs. Frank Mir - Mir wins by decision. I didn't expect this to go the distance but still go the winner right. Josh Burkman Vs. Josh Neer - Burkman wins by decision. Same as above. Yves Edwards Vs. Joe Stevenson - Stevenson wins by doctor stoppage in 2nd round. Man, Edwards was spurting blood everywhere!! That mat was drenched! I think he caught it on the fence when Joe pushed him into it. Joe was winning the fight up till then anyway. Drew Fickett Vs. Kurt Pellegrino - Drew Fickett Wins by Submission at 1:20 in the 3rd round by Rear Naked Choke. Jeff Monson Vs. Anthony Perosh - Jeff Monson Wins by Technical Knock Out at 2:42 in the 1st round . Gilbert Aldana Vs. Cheick Kongo - Cheick Kongo Wins by Technical Knock Out at 4:13 in the 1st round . Hermes Franca Vs. Joe Jordan - Hermes Franca Wins by Submission at 0:47 in the 3rd round by Triangle Choke. I'd say calling the winner on 8 out of 9 fights is pretty dang good.
  6. It's NOT going to happen. Bree is not that kind of model. Let's move on. Lazy, just go make your language. Hey Neo, are you expecting me to replace all the current pics on the site with these "new" ones?
  7. "I'm not going to let you just run around here like this is some sort of candy store" "Let me be honest with you detective....I've worked at a candy store...and this is NOTHING like it."
  8. lol, I am NOT convinced that Joe Stevenson is this great fighter people think he is. It's hard for me to pick a favorite fighter. I like Rashad Evans just because I liked seeing an underdog win the Ultimate Fighter 2. The way he shuts down the other fighter's game is good, so I do like him. Of course there is Matt Hughes, that guy is amazing to watch. Rich Franklin is indeed a great one too. It won't be long now and we shall see how our predictions go. I still think Sylvia is the better man.
  9. My predictions.... Tim Sylvia Vs. Andrei Arlovski - This will be a good battle. While I fear that Sylvia MAY get caught in a submission early on, I don't think this is very likely. My feeling is that Sylvia will win late in the fight by TKO or by descision. I just don't think Arlovski has what it takes to overcome what Sylvia knows about him now. Tito Ortiz Vs. Ken Shamrock - Not quite a repeat of the last fight but darn close. Shamrock has probably trained for the ground battle but Tito is way beyond him already. I think Tito might just submit Ken this time, maybe as early as the end of the first round. Dan Christison Vs. Frank Mir - I've only seen these guys fight once each so it would be hard to predict. I'll take Mir by submission...that is if he doesn't get cold cocked at 10 seconds into the first round. Josh Burkman Vs. Josh Neer - Josh Burkman wins by submission in the first round. Yves Edwards Vs. Joe Stevenson - Joe will try REAL hard to submit Edwards but will end up getting knocked out late in the fight. Drew Fickett Vs. Kurt Pellegrino - This is Kurt's debut to the UFC and Drew is a veteran, so I'll have to take Drew here. Let's say by submission early on since Kurt will probably want to take the fight to the ground. Jeff Monson Vs. Anthony Perosh - Another rookie fighting a veteran. hmm I'll have to take the veteran again here. Let's say by KO this time. Gilbert Aldana Vs. Cheick Kongo - This is Kongo's debut but he has been fighting alot in Europe so I'm going to take him here. KO in second round. Hermes Franca Vs. Joe Jordan - Franca by submission. Late in the first round.

  12. I fucking hate e-mail scammers like this... Dear Friend, I hope this letter will not embarrass you since we have not had any previous communication. I am Barrister Michael Enuma, personal attorney to Mr. Maxwell "so-n-so". He is a foreigner who used to work with Shell International Company here- Republic of Togo, hereinafter shall be referred to as my client. As it may interest you to know, your contact was giving to me by divine aspiration at the office of the Chamber of Commerce and Tourism in Lome-Togo as I was going through the foreigners' directories. On the 16th of August 2000, my client, his wife and their two children were involved in a car accident along Kara-Sokode expressway while arriving from Holiday to Lome. Unfortunately, all Occupants of the vehicle lost their lives. Since then, I have made several inquiries to locate any of their extended relatives which have also proved unsuccessful. I am contacting you to assist in repatriating the fund valued at $12.5m(Twelve Million five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars), left behind by my late client before it gets confiscated or declared unserviceable by the Bank where this huge amount was deposited. The Bank issued a notice to me to provide the next of kin or have his account confiscated. Since I have been unsuccessful in locating any of my deceased client's relative for over one year now, I seek your consent to present as the next of kin to the deceased since you bear the same last name with him. This is to enable the proceeds of this account be transferred at your directives. Therefore, I will not fail to inform you that this transaction is 100% risk free. On smooth conclusion of this transaction, you will be entitled to 38% of the total sum as gratification, while 7% will be set aside to take care of expenses that may arise during the time of transfer while 55% will be mine as the initiator of the business. All I require from you is your honest co-operation to enable us see this transaction through. I guarantee that this will be executed under legal arrangement that will protect you and I from any breach of the law. Upon your acceptance to this proposal, we will then discuss the modalities of transfer. You may request my telephone number for further discussion on this or contact me through my most private email address: [email protected] Until I hear from you, have my best regards. Michael Enuma Esq.
  13. UGH!!! Nadia, once again...you like many others fail to realize this story was written by BRITS in the 1980s!!! It was an attack on the British government primarily. In the story, the US was a fallen nation as a result of WW3, since it was set in the future. Just because we have a problem with our government and we see this or that parallel doesn't mean the movie was intended that way. If we want to generalize, it was simply an exploration of the corruption of power, the laziness of the masses, and the lengths some will go to fight against the "evil". *hops down off soap box*
  14. hell yeah UFC 61!!! I'll be at BWW watching it on the big screens eating wings and drinking beers.
  15. I saw those fights but sisnce I was at a bar I didn't get to hear the commentary. I could just imagine it though. Rashad totally shut down Bonnar who is usually a pretty tough fighter. On the other hand though, Rashad didn't really do much with his take downs once he got Bonnar down. It was a bit of a lack luster fight. I was SO disappointed my boy Luke lost. I've seen Leban fight before and expected a good fight there but boy he got hit HARD in the beginning and realized too late that he was in a fight....never caught his breath at all. That was really the only exciting part of the night.
  16. Well, we know about Maia (and the rest of the kids now). Was a pretty cool 2-part episode, IMO. Now Tom is supposed to kill Isabelle?? dang! :|
  17. well, you MIGHT be retarded. *ribbit*
