In the first post you'll see the lazy beginnings of an alphabetical directory (A with two names ). 2. That directory (first post) is the actual super fan hall of fame or the beginning of it at least. The second post is NOT the hall of fame, but just my own special acknowledgements. To avoid it being too long (as it was anyway of course judgeing by the confusion) I had to narrow the criteria down, thus excluding those with droves of super fans here (except FRANCY of course because she's the undisputed #1 Isabeli fan ) and those that have changed favorites since I've known them) to make it shorter. But I have many names to add to the directory . And of course you don't have to be a #1 fan to make the HOF . 3. I put a lot into that post (emotionally at least, not time wise ) and I'm not there myself so I can't be made to feel too ad . 4. This thread will of course be moved to General PIP General Talk after a day or so. I just wanted people to see it before it got burried in the PIP zone . 5. I'll add all the mentioned names to the directory, HOF (see first post, Alphabetical...) .

Before I begin I just wanted to say, I can't name all the amazing fans, but just wanted to also give a special shout out as well to my personal Hall of Fame favorites of models withouth droves of super fans here. I'm a really impulsive guy (in every way in my life) and had this idea so I figured I'd go for it . Ironically I thought they were two of the better ones . But none taken and to take it a step further, ironically I'm not a fan of most of them (and actually don't save/collect SI or VS pics now that I think about it ). I'm admittedly somewhat out of my depth but had the idea in the back of my mind and one day Pheno said I should do another comp so I figured I'd jump out there . And it was originally going to be rating but I thought of you and made it person vs. person . But this one might as well have been Rosie O. vs. Ellen D. since its looking to be another blow out . I don't know anything about the subject, but Marisa has the most impressive bosom I guess so...Marisa should do it well . But to be honest I've never kept up so I guess I won't be disappointed either way .

Two different industries . The controversy over thinspiration (no offense) is part of the reason fashion became so estranged from the mainstreem market to start with. There's really no need for endless debates about the fall of the supermodel, they basically just alienated the mainstreem market and celebs filled the void. Only fashion is a unique industry in that out of a combination of pride and self sufficiency refuse to even pretend to act based on compliance with mainstreem ideals the way the film, music ect. industries do. The fashion industry heads know that no matter what they choose to do their fans will adapt and accept it whatever it may be so they are all about their own agenda. Its not so easy in the film and music industries because while you have an agenda like all businesses do you still endlessly seek to comply with and please the mainstreem and their trends and ideals. So thus "too thin" for an actress is a different standard as a result.

She was smashable alright back in the Mean Girls days . She's not physically appealing now so much because of her issues, but my problem is more with the media's obsessive coverage than Lindsay herself .

That's good . I must admit even as a fan I'm guilty of agreeing with them myself . I doubt it would turn the heads of most people on its own if she were an everyday person, BUT that her personality makes it endearing and makes the most out of it. But I don't see average is an insult but it obviously is used as an insult depending on the text. "great body, but averave face" gives a negative connotation to the word average despite the fact that most people are average, that's why its average. It also makes the compliment even to the body nullified because its just used as a vehicle to diss the face. But on that same token, there are models who say they were considered below average beauties in school and because their face is considered "edgy" ironically enough they are able to have success and even be interpreted as beautiful to some. So if she had an average body she would more than likely find herself not pretty enough for commercial and not ugly or unique enough for high fashion and have had to knock out some of her teeth to make it as a model. So a model with a worse face and body is less likely to be ridiculed, so its all very interresting .

Same NA - 4 . She's cute, I love her on the show and there's just something about her I find comforting, refereshing and pleasant . Its also funny (gets umbrella for stones) how fashion fans of course say how models should have all the cosmetic commercials back like the used to ect. but its funny since most people I know don't know models when they see people like Halle Berry, Freida Pinto, Evangeline Lily...on cosmetic commercials and compare them to the models, they don't know the difference . I would have done it a long time ago myself because more women relate to actresses and singers than models. Its just great business (gets bigger umbrella). Sure its unfair in a way because the actresses/singers ect. have what they already had plus more while the models lose, but on the positive side the increased emphasis on looks over substance opens more doors than ever for models to act at least . And then even better you get a middle aged actress like Andie McDowell, Halle Berry ect. to target the women with the most money (middle aged and up) and its just pure marketing gold . NA - 4
