In all seriousness, I hope this topic doesn't become centered around taking shots at other models. This should just be a fun topic. I'm an up beat kind of guy and I can handle little jabs, but I can't speak for everyone.

Let's just say Catwoman is reserved for a model that might have acted like a cat on the runway when she was first starting out as a model. I think that's a big clue as well. Ale is going to have wings in this set. But whose wings? I sort of thought that Black Cat and Cat woman would be redundant. I suppose that I could be persuaded.

You guessed right on 1 out of 3. I have other plans for Natasha, playing a Russian super hero named Natasha as well, which should be a big enough clue. And there's nothing wrong with being a comic geek.

The last three bands on your list are pretty mainstream in my opinion. Lostprophets have had three major singles on the air waves. Ahh, I likes me the Lostprophets.

Let's see: Check marks for A Perfect Circle, Aiden, Bullet for my Valentine, Coheed and Cambria, Dropping Daylight, Eighteen Visions, Flyleaf, All that Remains and As I Lay Dying. That Flyleaf CD has been growing on me and I missed Bullet for my Valentine in concert a few weeks ago but I was there for Chevelle. Let's add another one to the list then: The Dreaming. They haven't exactly had a wide release yet but they have been together for four years and they've had a few EPs out that I've been listening to. Chris Hall of the late Stabbing Westward is on vocals. I doubt anyone has heard of The Dreaming. Do you mind if I tell my friend to check The Dreaming out? I dunno, some people get really protective over the bands they listen to and they wanna keep it on the hush hush because they like being the only one who's heard of them... Nah, I don't mind. If they were more popular then they'd tour down in the south east. They only play live in California and Las Vegas at the moment. I can't wait for their new album. It's not like me saying no would really change anything. Your friend must have good musical taste though.

Character: Wonderwoman Model: Adriana Lima The most iconic super heroine. Ever. She demands strength from the model. There needs to strength portrayed in both her eyes and her walk. Adriana most definitely has that. I think Gisele could pull this off as well, but I have my plans for her as well. I also considered Natasha Poly and Ale. Ale gives off an innocent vibe to me, so I wouldn't pick her. Karolina's blonde so she can't really pull this off either. While I like Natasha Poly, I think the highest profile character needs the highest profile VS model, just my opinion. Five sketches. Took me around five hours to do. Although some demanded more time that others. Please don't be too harsh, this is still at a very early stage. Hopefully, I'll have updates tomorrow. Sketch 1: Sketch 2:

Hyperion's VSFS Fantasy Show First Theme: Superheros You know, I liked the stewardess theme from last year's show and there was that Scottish theme which was neat. But this is a theme that makes so much sense that it might actually happen someday. Regardless of your point of view on whether comics are lame, superheros all have distinctive costumes with flair, attitude, and personality and MOST DEFINITELY sex appeal. Super heros are number one at the box office and the recent death of Captain America got a lot of (underserved) buzz. I have everything mapped out it my head right now. Who should be who and why. But I will take suggestions. I might post the superheros that I consider doing, let you pick who to do and who you think would be perfect to "wear" them. I don't think the model and character to open this show is going to suprise anyone. No big deal. Like I said this just makes sense.

So I was looking around and saw that there were all of these polls and topics about the upcoming or past Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Amongst the speculation and hope, I figured that I could try to deliver on this theme. Here's how this works: I'll pretend that I am in charge of my own VSFS. I'll pick my models my costumes and my themes; however, your input would be extremely appreciated. I'll draw that model from various angles and poses to the best of my ability. I'll start with the sketches. I'll clean up the pencils and ink them. Then, and (I don't want to get too ambitous here) then I'll experiment with either colored pencils or water colors to make the pictures "come to life" I think I have something special here. Most likely something that will hold me over until the next VSFS. So why don't you join me. As always, I'll post the pictures of my inspiration. I don't want this to come off as pathetic, I want this to be cool or at least neat but hopefully it registers more than a 'meh' from most people. So that's that. Let's open this thing up.

I agree with that. In my mind it's John or Ben. John has nothing left behind so why not? And he was not really liked by the others people. And Ben, I do'nt think he cared really about Locke and vice-versa... I was talking with my brother and he thought that there was no way that John or Ben would ever leave the island willingly. I agree with him to an extent. I could see a physically exhausted Ben leaving the island but John would go in a blaze. He'd kill himself. Back to square on for me. I'll stew this over a little more.

Nothing very special though. You can't really judge a character based on how they look. Daredevil pretty much got the look right and that movie was a mixed bag in my opinion. Shark - Season One - Episode 19 - Porn Free Apparently she was in Shark this season. I'm not a huge James Woods fan (except for that time he was on Family Guy) so I had no idea she was on that show. So I downloaded it and the show isn't that bad. Here's the skinny: Mini plays a model-that-can't-make-it-turned-porn-star. Yeah, I know, porn star? Anyway, this one guy who runs some type of shelter ends up killing the porn producer that sort of controls her. The guy is paying the producer off so that he won't give Mini any work. So the shelter guy ends up on trial. Everybody loves him because he killed a porn producer. So the investigators find out that the shelter guy is giving money to the producer. They were thinking that there was some insidious business venture going down. So they want to find out which girls stayed at the sheter so they can piece together if they have been showing up in porn movies. They identify three girls who have mysteriously dropped out of sight. Except for one. Enter: Mini Anden. She gets arrested trying to flee the cops. She lies about where she's been and is sent to holding. The shelting guy takes the stand in trial the next day and confesses everything. Why? He's covering for Mini. He hasn't been in a business venture. He's paying off the producer to protect Mini. Shark's team figures this out and moves for a mistrial due to jury tampering and one of his assistants takes the rap for the cause. No one wants an innocent man in prison. Shark then gets the confession from the shelter guy. The shelter guy went to kill the producer. The producer wanted more money than he had. So the porn guy tells Mini about the payoff to keep her out of work. She is amazed that the shelter guy loves her this much and gets him to put the gun down. The porn producer then threatens legal action for tresspassing and for assault with a weapon. He says that he's going to send him to jail. Mini shoots him. The end. For the most part. Mini's not a great actress but she ain't terrible. I was suprised that her character had so much screen time. She's pretty on the eyes and she can exude strength and also vulnerability in the same scene. I felt bad for her character. But that's most likely because I'm biased. I know that people don't like to read huge chunks of text so you'll be happy to know that I have screencaps and all her scenes posted on Rapidshare. Hope .wmv is okay with everyone. Hey, I'm working on this animation with ImageReady or rather I'm done with it, but the file size is too large for me to make it my avatar. Do I need to reduce the number of frames in my animation? Or is there another was to reduce the quality? I'll post what I have thus far if it helps.

I understand the gripe that you have. But I mean maybe us Miranda fans can go on Daria's page and light that topic up with why we like Miranda better. <-Sarcasm. It just seems from what I've seen that there are always people that post in a random model's thread and try to ignite some sort of reaction for nothing other than the sake of it being the internet. I plan to keep posting here and it's not like asking that question is going to make the posts dry up either.
