This isn’t the first time I’ve heard about this and it breaks my heart because if more people are talking about her shitty attitude then there must be some truth to it I heard she was rude to other models at castings (previous years during castings) and allegedly complained that she shouldn’t have to attend castings anymore after walking the show since 2011. Also according to her ex Tyson Beckford, she’s very hardheaded when she doesn’t get things her way...she seems like such a sweetheart though and she’s close friends with a lot of models and angels so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.

She was fine in the 2014 and the 2017 shows imo. Wasn’t being extra and had a sexy, smoldering look in her walk. But 2015...?

I’m still surprised how early it is this year! Can’t wait to hear the rest of the updates soon

Am I the only one who wishes we can return back to the smaller but wider glitter runways from the 2010 and 2011 shows? The shows those years felt so much more intimate, sexier and personal because of the smaller vicinity, smaller runway and elaborate sets and it was always easy to see a model walk out uninterrupted with her outfit on full display...even with editing, instead of having 5 models on the runway clashing into each other one after the other smh.

In theory it was okay but the execution was messy and confusing. But considering this year it’s in the Armory, we can rule out duo runway walks this year lmao

Someone on IG said a Chinese fan source knows for sure there will be YET ANOTHER dark segment this year and people are speculating that it will be similar to a mashup of Dark Angels and Punk Angels but with more color (whatever the fuck that means?)...if this is true I’m gonna actually scream.

Agreed. Adut said so herself that she would never attend castings for VS or wouldn’t want to be invited to attend them on her IG live but she laughed about...I doubt it was a superiority thing, but she is the most “IT” girl of the fashion industry and these “IT” girls are realizing they don’t need VS to help their already successful careers.

Ariela is gorgeous! And her runway walk is fierce as fuck. Didn’t she attend castings this year or am I confusing her with another girl with natural curly hair? Either way, hope to see her next year, I’ll def be following her career.

Ahh so I’m assuming the FB announcement will be around the same time then or earlier like usual.

Since the show is for sure on November 8, this is the earliest the show has been since the 2005 show (November 9, 2005). When do you think fittings will begin, definitely this month during fashion month no? since they’ll have most of their models in a ten mile radius and easy and accessible access to them I could imagine. I think the segments should be announced soon too, maybe by the end of the month or early October. Hopefully they don’t make us guess and not announce them at all like last year...that was a nightmare

Agreed. If Sui’s “Angelship” isn’t announced before this year’s show, it’ll most likely be announced by the end of the year. I really don’t think her age has a factor in her being an angel like some of y’all, she still looks young and is gorgeous. VS will probably want to keep her for a few years or so to properly utilize her (like they did with Chanel Iman or Karlie Kloss). I doubt she’ll stay with the brand for 4+ years if she becomes an Angel.

She hasn’t confirmed if she’s walking or not but it’s safe to assume she isn’t which I’m pretty bummed about, not the best looking model (face wise..too instagram for my liking) but she has a beautiful body and wouldve loves to see someone her size break barriers. Maybe next year though...

Yesss! Highland Romance was one of my fave segments with Gisele but ever y single model in that segment killed it and the outfits were done so beautifully and sexy without being offensive lol and I agree, the last time we had elaborate stage designs was in the 2015 show and even that was mediocre. Hopefully we get extravagant set designs and graphics again since the show is being held in NYC again so..

Yuck. I sincerely hope this Rebel Angels segment is just pure speculation, Punk Angels was pretty decent last year but reusing the same/similar themes 2 years in a row is just lazy as fuck.

I said the exact same thing! A maximum of 60-65 models and Martha will def get the FB. The odds just seem in her favor and VS has never really been logical on which models receives it. I presume the last models confirmed for the show will be this week.

Judging by the smile and the message, do you guys think Sui maybe landed an Angel contract?!? I know it’s been said to death but they only ever offered one to Ming who declined their offer. Also Sui has been very quiet this year but has been working her ass off for VS, I hope it’s true because it’s about damn time I saw some new faces in this boring ass lineup. Makes sense because Ale is out and the status of Adri and Bee’s confirmation and contract is unknown atm...

Duckie and Willow will both definitely get 2 mainline looks since they’re the most well known and popular in the current lineup next to the Angels and the Hadids, I can also see Barbara getting 2 looks this year and maybe wings but I highly doubt they’ll throw Lorena in PINK, she is way too mature looking it’s like putting Irina Shayk in PINK, she’ll probably have one mainline look at least.

I hope Duckie gets wings this year but wishful thinking hopefully she at least gets 2 looks and won’t be stuck in PINK, but most likely she will be along with 85% of the newbies smh but considering how huge she is in the lineup (Duckie, Barbara, Winnie and the Hadids if they’re really walking, are the models everyone’s talking about on social media), she may be in mainline.

You’re missing Ming Xi, she was already confirmed if I’m not mistaken.

Considering she’s the least fave girl in the line up this year (next to Winnie Harlow), Sadie better put in twice the amount of work and make everybody eat their own words. I expect nothing but the best from her at this point.

Out of all the newbies, on social media everyone is mostly excited about Duckie and states this will be the first time they’ll be watching the show in years to see her...hopefully it shows in viewership and ratings, im also excited for Lorena and Josie for her walk alone (not a fan but this girl’s walk is pure fire).
