Agreed 100% @bump None of the new angels command star power, are as boring as dry wall and they’re all so “relatable” that it completely diminishes the ethereal, unattainable aspect of “glamazon, bombshell Angels” VS had succeed in selling for decades....now look where the brand is? Millions of dollars in debt smh. Just face the facts, your faves are boring as fuck and are all awful Angels. Elsa, Lais, Jasmine and Sara are the only angels I can see saving this brand from its teenage mediocrity tbh, all the others? axe em. They do nothing and I’d rather watch zoo animals become VS Angels cause at least that’d be more entertaining.

I was gonna say the EXACT same thing. She’s a beautiful balance between Adriana, Doutzen and Sara and her runway walk is killer! I think she’s perfect for VS and she looks like she can command and hold down a show Kambree Dalton for VSFS 2018!!!

It would honestly be the perfect closing song with the FB, but VS is practically brain dead so watch them butcher this like always.

There’s insiders stating that Miley Cyrus (YUCK!) and Ariana Grande will perform this year. I don’t mind Ariana since her new album has songs with good runway walk vibes. I can def see her performing No Tears Left to Cry and God is a Woman.

This year the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will be either a go big or go home. Nobody is interested in watching it other than the actual fans and it isn’t that important anymore (ratings and viewership at an all time low). They need to: 1) cast better models to walk who don’t look like 12 year olds 2) come up with interesting runway look ideas, less but extravagant wings, more lingerie, no costumes...because since 2015, the whole show has been just one TRAGIC giant costume party. + less models (40 MAX) but models that COUNT and no unknown singers that don't bring anything great. Also...BRING BACK THE REMIXES. But we know VS never listens so this rant is useless lol

Vanessa Moody, Alexina Graham, Roosmarijn de Kok, Dilone and Maggie Laine all need to NEVER return. All horrible and painful to watch. New faces I hope will get casted are the black Barbie dolls Duckie Thot and Senait Gidey, also I’m really interested in what Adut Akech Bior will bring to the show, she’s quite stunning and I’d prefer her look over Grace Bol who is too HF for VS... Barbara Palvin, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Zhenya Katava, Frederikke Sofie, Roos Abels, Teddy Quinlivan and Cara Taylor would all also be my ideal models for this year. I live Cara’s androgynous look and she can pull off “sexy” better than that 12 yo boy Dilone...

I don’t even like Alexina for PINK tbh. She’s just too “extra” for the brand. I agree with whoever said that if she dyed her hair brown, VS would not be hyping her up this much. She’ll only impress me if she’s able to improve her runway walk and appearance in this year’s show and even if she does..she’s still not worthy of being an Angel.

If Grace E, Lameka and Alexina got angel contracts I wouldn’t even be mad tbh...VS needs to clean up their TIRED ass angel lineup already, it’s been 4 years and literally all of the angels are soooo boring, predictable and offer nothing new to the brand (except Lais imho). It’d be nice to finally see some fresh faces in the lineup (even tho I agree that Alexina is too much for me, part of me is still salty that Cintia Decker couldn’t be VS first redheaded Angel on that note: Lily can go, Stella can go, Taylor can go and Romee can go (normally I’d say Martha too but I hate to say it but she’s really growing on me)

Yes! I completely forgot, I believe that was 2010 or 2011 show we’re she was casted I can’t remember but I’m not a fan of hers but seeing her on the runway was glorious, reminded me of the old classic glamazon VS models from the early 00s

It’s not that Irina is “horrible” but because this was during the time VS was going for more HF powerhouse models who they know could deliver on the runway and eventually become household names. Also I remember reading an insider somewhere that Irina wasn’t the easiest model to work with back then, she was known for being rude and sometimes having a temper tho I don’t know wether how accurate that was... couldnt agree more, signing an angel contract nowadays is considered suicidal in the fashion industry, it completely limits your amount of jobs outside of the brand and the Angel status itself has lost its prestige when they decided to sign the 10 new angels in 2015. Many models wouldn’t even be caught dead just walking for the brand! Especially since they don’t pay as well as they used to...

Irina has auditioned for many shows in the past (I believe the last show she ever auditioned for was the 2011 show) but before that she’s been going to castings to as far back as 2007 and still didn’t get cast despite her look being EXACTLY what VS was looking for during their “glory days” or “golden years” haha she was only casted in the 2016 show because of the buzz around her relationship with Bradley Cooper and that she was 3 months pregnant during too.

But we both know VS loves opportunity, publicity and exploitation, also the fact that Justin already had performed at the show in 2012 and Hailey has auditioned for the show like 3-4 times prior I believe..I can see them doing what they did to Irina, just inviting her to walk this year and that’s it.

Well...now that Hailey is engaged to Justin Bieber I think it’s a MOST definite she’ll be casted in this year’s show and they’ll obviously give her own segment on how she’s auditioned for years and finally got casted after all her “hard work” *cues tears* and then she’ll talk a little about her relationship with Justin and the cameras will pan to the audience to show him cheering her on while she walks...very typical VS formula lmao

Ummm....I really wouldn’t oppose to VS casting more swimsuit/commercial models again...because Josie Canesco and Georgia Gibbs runway walk put EVERY Angel’s walk into shame. Don’t fight me.

Kelsey is ok to me but that’s it, she doesn’t wow me at all and comes across as simply “another pretty face” which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. How’s her runway walk?

Romee is so unbearably monotone looking and boring. Her walk is killer tho and that’s the only reason why I don’t hate her. Other than that, she along with Stella and Martha need to be the next New Angels to be axed

Do we even know for sure that Bee is returning to VS? I believe she recently made a post on IG about her opening the 2014 show and of course she walked the Alexander Wang show a couple of weeks ago but do we have actual confirmation she’s back?? i would love her to do at least one show since I kinda miss seeing her on the runway (even tho she wasn’t my fave Angel) but I don’t want her to wear the FB since she hasn’t worked in 2-3 yrs and that’s a smack in the face to the newer Angels who’ve been busting their asses off for the brand for a while now imo

Any models you hope will walk this year’s show? I know it’s kinda early but I’m hoping to see at least Barbara Palvin (please god), Senait Gidey, Duckie Thot, Adut Akech Bior, Iman Hammam, Aqua Parios, Melodie Vaxelaire and Yasmin Wijnaldum. For sure tho, I can definitely see Duckie Thot (she looks like a black Barbie and has an amazing body) and Adut Akech being casted because they’ve both had a really good year and are insanely hot in demand for black models. Melodie too since she’s a certified PINK girl and maybe Yasmin (I’ll die of happiness) ? girl will outwalk every angel there lol

I’m honestly still surprised she’s never gotten a Vogue US cover, if anything she def should’ve gotten one during her prime years where she gained significance and a huge following in the US from 2003 to 2009. Long overdue indeed but I really hope it’s true! ?

Behati looks absolutely stunning! so excited about her comeback, I really forgot how flawless her bone structure is!!! but I do hope she focuses on high-fashion, runway and editorials and hope that she’s done with VS all together...we haven’t seen her in 2 shows in a row and her returning (also Candice) seems odd considering that VS seems waaay to mediocre and childish for them. I hope all the old Angels leave by 2020 at most so at least the brand can try to reinvent itself.

Couldn’t agree more. Vita screams Angel to me and Romee is just very homely looking imo, Martha is meh and don’t even get me started on Stella. They should’ve axed all three and just replace them with Vita and I’d be happy as hell ?

I’m pretty surprised the Angel lineup has still remained the same...VS needs to cut 4-5 girls ASAP (Martha, Stella, Romee, Lily and Behati) all these girls do absolutely nothing for me (except Lily and Bee) and they could be replaced with plastic bags and no one would notice. This is just getting ridiculous as this point. As much as I love Candice, I think with her recent pregnancy it’s very evident that she enjoys motherhood, family and her other projects so I think they should give her a nice farewell in this year’s show and leave it at that, then again they’ll prob do her dirty like they did Ale

Monica really does look like the brunette Claudia Schiffer and I’m so here for it! She truly reminds of the supermodel era VS was known for in its golden years. Really hope to see her, Yasmin Wijnaldum and Barbara walk this year’s fashion show...more of them and less of Sadie pls

If Sadie gets to walk this year’s fashion show, I’ll blow my shit but we’re getting so close to that point the way she’s being pushed onto us everywhere and even hosting more events than Angels themselves?!? You would think she was an Angel herself and I wouldn’t be surprised if she already has a contract... Idk what’s VS obsession with these bland as hell girl next door models Megan Puleri, Vanessa Moody and now Sadie Newman...just a BIG no, call me a hater but it’s a Snapple fact
