The show is almost 3 weeks away and still no info yet, either this will be the BEST show we’ve seen in the last few years or it’s gonna be a shitshow train wreck. I’m so ready!

The 2005 show was in the Armory too but the runway and capacity looked much bigger and spacious then compared to now. The 2006 show was in the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.

I’m pretty surprised with the venue this year...I’ve been to Pier 94 for a college fair and a concert years ago and although it’s a big venue (capacity size) it’s much less grand than the Armoury or any venue they’ve ever used. I 100% agree with what you guys said though about missing the much smaller, intimate venues and runways...there was just something magical about the 2010 and 2011 shows because of the small, high rise runway and smaller venue. It felt as if you were in the audience watching the whole show and the edits were almost always never garbage like they are now with smaller venues, so it’ll be interesting to see how they utilize this space. Side-note: if VS could’ve booked Madison Sq Garden, the publicity for this year’s show would be INSANE. But maybe in the future lol

Actually not a bad idea lmao VS won’t have to worry about obsessed no life having fans bitch and moan about their faves not getting the FB and all that money spent on it could actually go into making a really good show with amazing outfits. Just IMO tho.

I’m still confused...so is this segment mainline or PINK?...🤔 I’m pretty sure they announced this collab, it was with PINK so I can’t imagine this being the opening segment and the FB wouldn’t be in it either

@DULOVEMEDO didn’t we both predict we’d get a Latin/Caribbean segment this year with Latin/Caribbean performer? If done well, this could be a really colorful and fun opening segment. Is this forsure in PINK or will it be mainline?

Heidi’s closing wings in the 2003 show remain the tallest wings in VSFS history and those were only a merely 12 feet. I can’t even imagine how 20 ft would look on the runway but if Candice is able to handle it, I’m pretty sure it’s most likely the original basic feathered white wing design they used in the Golden Era when wings were...well wings, attached to simple and light wiring. That’s completely doable. Nothing too extreme or heavy. Also a 20 ft train of drapping white wings sounds realistic too so dramatic and would be an amazing and unforgettable closing moment. If that’s the case, I hope it’s for a bridal segment (long overdue) since someone did say we may have an all white segment this year? Candice will be the Princess Diana of VSFS

On somewhat better news, Candice is going to wear 20 feet long Angel wings idk how I feel about this considering she’s said so herself that she doesn’t like heavy wings (like the harp ones from the 2010 which also ended up breaking like a night before the show lol). But maybe these are actually light feathered ones like from the Golden Era of VSFS?

Yes the difference is Gigi and Bella really improved themselves and wether people like them or not, you can’t lie they work hard and acknowledge their privilege as nepo models. Meanwhile, Kendull still can’t walk in a straight line, has the same blank expression every single time, is boring to look at and think about...her walking makes me hate Sadie and Winnie’s presence less now and that’s saying a lot. I’m gonna stop there, Candle can choke on her own vomit for all I care.

From my understanding, I believe it was mostly HF models that were REALLY pissed about what that pathetic excuse of a model said and also Leomie Anderson, Mayowa Nichols, Yasmin Wijnaldum made comments about her as well and called her out on social media. I’m not sure who else, but if she’s truly casted this year, VS should really rethink that decision or a storm is about to brew backstage and with the press. I’m so disappointed, once again another year where the attention will be taken away from the FB, the most fabulous line up we’ve had in years (minus Sadie and Winnie) and will be overpowered by Kendull’s ingrateful presence. Exactly. Like you said, this is nearly 60 models walking and they’ll be together longer than usual (days and hours) leading up to the show. She’ll definitely get some hate, not necessarily upfront but I can’t imagine anyone being nice to her after that shitty comment she made (except the Hadids and Winnie’s ass kissing self). or someone spits or puts out a cig in her drink. Call me mean, but I could care less about Candle Janitor and her shitty “I’m too good for this industry” attitude. Over it.

I’m disappointed but not surprised. I was really hoping to just see the Hadids this year since they both grew on me and don’t irk me as much as Kendull, she’s an unappreciative brat who didn’t have to work for shit and gets everything handed for her. Also, I was really hoping this year’s show would finally focus on the amazing models in the lineup (esp the new ones) that are walking this year instead of the same damn nepo girls. If this is true, I can’t even begin to imagine the backlash Kendall is gonna get backstage after all that shit talked she’s probably the most hated model in the industry by other models.

Since VS commented under that post...does anyone else believe the FB may have actually gone to Behati? Or that doesn’t really mean much. If anything, I bet my money Martha (she’s been quiet as a mouse for far too long), Taylor or even Elsa probably got the FB. But knowing VS, they’ll surprise us and give it to Martha (I still it’s her).

Speaking of pathetic, did you guys hear that Jasmine Sanders called out VS for being racist since she wasn’t casted...again? sis is not even fully black yet Grace Bol, Leomie Anderson, Duckie Thot and other black/darker skinned models were casted. That’s the biggest reach ever, you’re not a good model honey, just a pretty face with sour grapes.

I honestly couldn’t agree more. The makeup alone can make up for shitty outfits and terrible walks because the girls will actually look like supermodels and not the same “washed out, boring girl next door, let’s have a slumber party and text our crushes teenagers” 😷 even if it isn’t as glamourous as the 2008 show, Charlotte’s “plain/natural” makeup looks are still 100x far more superior and bombshell like than anything VS has put on the models faces for the past few years. I’m so excited to see the return of the “glamazon” VS Angel that made VS what it is. Let’s just hope the hair is on point too... do we know whos doing the hair this year?
