You know, I once had this highly-charged erotic dream about Frankie Rayder. I was set up on a blind-date with her, and she met me with this leonine smile. THEY EXIST: Squirrel fish, belonging to the order Beryciformes, are brightly colored, medium-sized fish that are active mostly at night. Squirrel fish live in rocky or coral reefs in tropical and warm temperate seas. Their most distinguishing characteristics are their large eyes and their ability to make sounds to ward off intruders. All squirrel fish have large eyes, and they often measure between 12-24 in (30-60 cm) long. These fish are commonly brightly colored—usually red—which helps them blend into their bright environment, the coral reef. Some squirrel fish also have stripes. Their bodies are covered with large, rough scales and sharp spines. Squirrel fish are known for their ability to make a variety of clicking and grunting noises, produced by vibrating their swim bladders. It is believed that they do this to defend themselves and their territories. For example, one species, the longspine squirrel fish, is believed to make different sounds depending on the type of threat that is faced. The longspine uses a single grunt when challenging another fish that presents little threat. However, when facing a fish that is too large to intimidate, the longspine emits a series of clicking noises, signaling the need to retreat from the situation. The longjaw squirrel fish has also been observed making similar noises. Also, apparently, they don't taste very nice. so don't eat them...

I'll be honest, and I was just saying it to phenobarbie too, I'm a little underwhelmed by this finale. I know you like them Pretty, but I don't think any of them (possible exception Lindsay) would have made my final cut. Then again, given the monstrosities on offer this year, none of them are stupid choices either. All in all, they've made me lose any loquaciousness I might have previously had - this ramble aside!!! Now there was a legitimate reason for me to be perusing wedding magazines at the weekend, but I mention it in passing because amongst them I saw a beautiful ad for Rosa Clara with Inguna! So, I've been and had a look online and found more - must be fairly recent too as they're from the 2010 collection, and all feature Inguna at her imperious best:

^Oh, I do - dear Pretty. I so do. And it pains me to say so, but it's with Candice too... Now - don't get me wrong - I still think she has a phenomenal body, and is very pretty - but for me some 'spark' has gone. I was an early champion of Candice, and remain the majority poster in her thread (all thrillers, no fillers! ), since first seeing her in the 2007 VSFS - where her sashay down the runway completely bowled me over. I sought out all her previous editorials and shows to post, and was impressed. And seeing her interviewed only added to my adoration! I was also very happy to see her appear in the VS catalogues, and was excited for her greater exposure by appearing in these. This isn't some anti-VS diatribe (I love Behati's PINK work), but it was here that I did lose interest... I don't know, I wasn't that thrilled with her appearance in the following year's VSFS - despite having far more screen-time with her three outfits. And then the catalogue photos started to mount up to the detriment of any other work. I know she still does do editorials and catalogue work with other brands, but it all seems a bit safe and 'samey'. Maybe she was never going to be a HF queen, I certainly don't begrudge her her career choices (and of course there have been some great shoots since - plus she's just walked the Marc Bouwer show) but now I keep seeing that same VS smile, and those VS poses, repeated ad infinitum. I just compare her work now to those previous shows like Betsey Johnson and Rock & Republic and feel some 'edge' is missing. And where I once looked forward to her VS shots, I now find myself skipping past them to see other girls. She's still Candice though - and always gets my vote - but, yeah, uhmm... All a bit - whatever, I suppose...

Oh, I think Natasha has a most perfect face (cheekbone swoon)! To be sure she did look a little emaciated post 2007 - but when I first saw her in a Vanity Fair article about the Russian model invasion I thought her body was great. And I find her sexy regardless... So Natasha - (Y) (Y) (Y) for me.
