Ooooh, Helena Christensen! I remember - when I 'came of age' - that I was pretty uninterested in the then current crop of female pop stars and actresses. And then I saw Helena, in a metal bikini shot by Herb Ritts. From there I discovered the 'Supermodels' and knew, with absolute certainty, that these were my kind of ladies...

It's tricky... Maybe I'm not sure on what we're supposed to be voting on? I mean, isn't the point of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof (certainly the stage play, although I know it was underplayed for the film) that Paul Newman's character was gay and wasn't interested in Elizabeth Taylor? So he kind of avoids her advances throughout... But, my lawd, does Liz ever smoulder in this! So it gives them the edge. Taylor/Newman - (Y) (Y) (Y) Bogart/Hepburn - (Y) (Y)

I have to say Joe, I'm not that au fait with your choices. I voted accordingly, but the only one I really like on your list is The Bare Necessities - because the Jungle Book kicks ass... Honestly, I find the more recent Disney songs (90's+) a bit turgid. ^Screw them! Now this - this makes me sing and samba, and shout 'ay caramba'! Now who wants to come and be a "gay caballero" with me?

^I read that the founder of Supreme (and Women) had basically swapped jobs with the head of Ford - and lots of agents and models have obviously been affected by the change... I suppose Behati's move is a direct result of this.

Well, there is that argument! Though I'm not sure I can see CBS going for it... Anyway, I do think it's much sexier to conceal and tease us a little. And I have to remind myself of that when this often unending parade of bizarre pap comes down the runway... The only redeeming feature being that it's provocatively draped over some of the world's finest looking models! Frankie - The only one of this batch I actually like. Reka - Feathers glued onto dustbin liners. Heidi - Looks a bit cheap-and-tacky, scratchy 80's Penthouse. Alessandra - Doily. Gisele - Doilies.

Gisele (black) - I don't know, something about that stiff little skirt... Liya - I hadn't realized "HAWWWKMENNN DIIIIIVE" had been on the show before. Turns out Izabel's outfit in 2009 was merely an embellishment on this. Adriana - Again, the bra looks like it needs more support. And I'm not sure about the cotton wool balls. Gisele (white) - Combines two of the worst VS themes: neck braces and diapers.

So what are some realistic suggestions you have regarding this issue? *smile* ^Time has moved on - and the thread has progressed to page 90; plus over 10 replies have transpired (admittedly with a Pretty/pheno push ) so the current issue is resolved.Would be interested to know what the progeny of this was though? Because, as was rightly pointed out, the rest of the forum was OK. Thanks for looking into it though - and I shall be back if it deigns to reappear...

^Not fixed. Page 89 is still out-of-bounds for me... But my 'guardian angel', Prettyphile ( ), bumped the thread onto a new page (and over 10 replies) so I'm not affected by the glitch anymore.Best be careful not to wander back to that page though - did anyone talk ill of me in there?
