So I did buy that Exile... remaster, and no - it's not much different. The extra album was very much worth it though, especially if you're in love with that 'Mick Taylor period' Stones. Infact, the only real noticeable difference was in the clarity of I Just Want To See His Face which - given that my enjoyment of the song was in it being so murky that I could imagine myself in some voodoo bordello, having a grand old time with a few ebony vixens, and making a half-hearted, mumbled shot of salvation by acknowledging Jesus (just in case this languorous scenario was to be my last) - was surely a misfire anyway!
