I was right wasn't I ..Barbara absolutely had to be at The 2015 amfAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) Cannes Dinner gala....The amfAR gala in Cannes is the most exclusive,prestigious event of all...It is THE hottest ticket in town...period....and every single year L'Oreal Paris reserves/pays for an entire table and fill it up with their biggest super VIP executives...Cyril Chapuy (President of L'Oreal Paris),Yann Joffredo (Global Vice-President of L'Oreal Paris) and best L'Oréal Paris International Ambassadors...Out of the top celeb VIP's Julianne Moore, Naomi Watts, Blake Lively,Ryan Reynolds,Jane Fonda and Freida Pinto obviously couldn't attend..Only Aishwarya Rai could...so the second tier..the fashion models had to be the ones who represented the brand....Karlie,Doutzen, Lara ,Natasha are def bigger names in the fashion industry but Barbara is one of the biggest names and sellers for L'Oreal Paris...she moves products off the shelf like no other....all her products are best sellers...that entire super shitty horrible stuff Miss Manga mascara line was one of their biggest sellers...and L'Oréal Paris thankfully gets it...they have promoted BP like nobody else....China...twice....Korea ,Australia..twice ,The Golden Globes and now amfAR twice ..plus also as a model for Carine Roitfeld's amfAR's annual Cinema Against AIDS gala Fashion show..they select her only and only because of L'Oréal Paris...that is their power...it is their beauty/glam team Karim Rahman/Stephane Lancien who are in charge of the whole look and it is their products they use on the models exclusively !!!! Barbara's beauty is emphasized due to the fact she is 10+ lbs heavier than the average model. Imagine her with a gaunt face :yuckky: It would ruin her skin, hair and everything else about her. She could lose 5 more lbs, 10-15lbs would be pushing it.
