The new VS Valley of the Dolls-esque pictures aren't for Spring. They're for VS's special "Little Book of Lingerie" catalogue. The theme is "Love, Lust, and Lingerie: A Supermodel Story Told in Three Chapters." The Brazilian model not named Alessandra is Chapter 1: The Temptress. Candice is Chapter 2: The Flirt. Erin is Chapter 3: The Wild One.

If it's Erin, then it means she has two sets of wings unless they change one of her outfits. The Inside Edition video showed her with smaller white wings for her peacock crotch outfit.

What about the possibility of that last row being finale outfits? I complained that the models didn't have real finale outfits last year. Maybe (hopefully), they're bringing them back this year. The models would have to be fitted for those just like they would for their showcase walks.

In the other video of Lily's fitting, she said the outfit with the wings was for the pink section, and her other outfit was for the country section. There's five segments, so they are probably Tough Love, Pink, Sports, Country, and Glamour. Based on what we've seen so far, I think Erin will open Sports and Candice will close the show. Has anyone figured out who the fit model is yet? She's the brunette in most of the clothing polaroids.

I wonder if the NYT people got their notes mixed up. The Maryna conversation sounds like it would/should apply to Karolina. She was annointed a VS angel yet she had to walk for them again. And WTF on them calling Maryna an angel? I'm thinking that part is in reference to Rosie. Even if they did sign another supermodel, VS needs another blonde like they need a hole in the head.

I didn't even notice all of the details of one of Erin's outfits when I was watching Inside Edition. That's way too much happening. The wings don't go with that outfit, and they should get rid of the peacock crotch.

Thanks for the link. Those are the pictures of the footage that I saw. The last two pictures from that link are the interesting one with the sketches and outfits. I spy Gracie and Constance. And does that #39 correspond to the fantasy bra post-it? If so, that means it might be stuck in the middle of a segment again.

Inside Edition showed fitting footage today. They showed Erin, Chanel, and Anne V. One of Erin's outfits was a red, white, and blue boxing outfit (it looks a variation of the one from the sketch with red bra and black shorts), and another one was a blue bra with a gold shoulder accents and white wings. They showed Chanel in a red and either gray or white pinstripe baseball outfit. It was a sheer bodysuit type outfit similar to her blue outfit last year. Anne V had a small pair of cream/white wings with the outfit they showed. There's no guarantee that she'll actually keep the wings, but the outfit reminded me of a combination of Rosie and Candice's outfits from last year's segment that Heidi opened. Monica said this year's theme is a Year of a Thousand Fantasies - or something like that.

Lily is the most articulate of the four models in that video. She has the potential to be a really good spokesperson for the brand the way Marisa was. From the new Christmas specials catalogue

This "past" fashion week? Try the last few fashion weeks. When talking about TFS, Anja is one of the queens of the weight thread, so it's natural that people are going to take the criticism of her that is in the weight thread and transfer it to her other projects - particularly something as high profile as Victoria's Secret. When you compare Anja's look now (even her look at the last show) to how she looked when she started, there is a noticeable difference and not everyone finds that appealing.

Well Andriana Lima has been removed. Candice Swanpoel - not so much.

The runway angels section is online on the fashion show page. Lily's profile is officially active, and she's on the supermodel page. No one had been removed as of my last check, so the total is 13. I think caught them while they were in the process of updating everything. When I clicked on Lily's profile when I made that screenshot, it wasn't online yet. Now it is, so maybe they will be removing some of the other profiles soon. When all of the new face stuff came out last year, I suggested that maybe they were going with a "Perfect 10" type of scenario, and it feels like that's exactly what they did this year. 8 models are listed under the runway angels section. Add the 2 are on maternity leave, and you have a total of 10. Of the extra 3 on the supermodel list, Heidi and Marisa have been inactive most of the year, and one L (Lindsay) has been replaced by another L (Lily). This is all pure speculation, but it's feeling more and more like a "Perfect 10" scenario to me. If that's what they're going with, then I don't think anymore models should be added (specifically anymore blondes: looking at you Katsia), until some of their other contracts expire. Even though 10 is a lot of models in comparison to previous years, I don't hate the idea of it. There's plenty of work to go around if they spread it out the way they should.
