Actually, the majority of the public doesn't care about either one of those things. It's only the diehard fans that care. Most of the people who will be watching don't follow fashion or Victoria's Secret enough to even know the models' names let alone care about who opens the show.

They can probably go ahead and remove Lindsay too. It seems like her stint on "Survivor: Angel Island" is up as well. She's not in the press releases, hasn't been featured in anything prominent recently. Alessandra is 5'10" in her dreams. Both she and Candice are shorter than Miranda, yet both of their All Access heights claim they're taller than she is. Miranda is listed at 5'9", and I think that's a "good day" for her. I think Miranda has 5'9" days, but I think she's probably closer to 5'8.5/5'8.75" and rounded up. The CBS site also says Lily is 5'9" - yeah, in her dreams too. I like Lily a lot, but homegirl isn't 5'9." I think Alessandra and Candice are both slightly over 5'8", Miranda is just under 5'9" and Lily is around or just under 5'8"

You'll have to wait until someone scans it. It's not even officially on the VS site yet. My guess is that it will be another two or three weeks before it's sent to customers. The Christmas catalogue that I posted on the 30th is going to be mailed next week. This will probably be in mailboxes a few weeks after that.

She's being used in the catalogs more than ever. She's doing clothing in addition to p!nk. When it comes to events, she usually only does the p!nk things, and she's done a few of those this year.

2007 would have been the perfect year for her to leave IMO. I admire her acknowledgement that she basically outgrew (or aged out of) the VS demographic. Hopefully VS won't keep any of their other models until they're in their mid to late 30s. It just becomes ridiculous after a certain point. I'd be fine with not seeing either one of them this year. Instead of a host, I'd prefer to see something 2005-esque where the models throw to the commercials with a sentence or two something. I think all of the five younger models would be engaging and work well in that kind of format. I think it will be more of an equal footing with each model having her own niche and following. Even though I only like Lily out of the newcomers, I do like the idea of a quintet of Lily, Candice, Erin, Rosie, and Chanel. I think the five of them would make a strong unit, and it would be a return to the "5 Angel" model with two blondes, two brunettes, and an angel of color.

Lily has been the best thing about these latest VS launches. The revolving door of models was leaving me seriously underwhelmed. - I don't like the Brazilians. - I'm not that crazy about the blondes. - Chanel is annoying. - Rosie is... is... um, no. Just no. I was beginning to think my VS fandom would end with Miranda, but along comes Lily FTW. Thank you VS.

Exactly where did you read/hear the re-signing part though? That's what I'm asking or are you just going on an assumption that she's been re-signed for the next three years? RE: The fantasy bra... So all hope is not lost for Alessandra yet.

I recall reading David Jones confirming that she was under contract with them until 2013. Where did you read/hear the VS 2013 confirmation?

Agreed. I don't like her at all, but it's been clear all year long that Candice is the one that VS wants to promote this year. The fantasy bra fits in with that pattern. If they wanted to use one of the other models on their roster, then they would have. The only person this news sucks for is Alessandra. VS has used Candice entirely too much this year in an effort to get her name out there, but they've always had moments of using models way too much (both of the Brazilians included). Again, agreed. Candice is textbook "hot." VS sees that, and they are promoting that. I just hope that the final CBS edit doesn't turn into the Candice show. Even though there are many of us that are tired of her, it's also important for some people to understand that there are many people who have absolutely no idea who she is. Her name isn't going to get out there unless VS prominently pushes it, and they've been doing a lot of that this year. Maybe they'll dial their use down a notch once they feel comfortable with her level of recognition.
