  17. What to wear for my graduation party? That’s the big question I keep asking myself as the day gets closer. Graduation is such a milestone—it’s the end of one journey and the beginning of something completely new. I want my outfit to reflect that mix of achievement and excitement, but I also don’t want to look either too casual or far too formal. Naturally, the first thing that comes to mind is the idea of a graduation dress. It feels like the most classic choice: something stylish, elegant, and a little more polished than what I would normally wear. A well-fitted graduation dress can work perfectly for photos and make the occasion feel extra special. But even within that option, there are so many choices. Should I go for a short, playful style that’s easy to move in, or a longer dress that feels more sophisticated? At the same time, I’m also thinking about comfort. I know there will be plenty of walking, greeting friends and family, and hopefully a lot of dancing later on. That makes me consider whether a chic jumpsuit or a smart two-piece outfit might be a better fit than a traditional graduation dress. I want something that looks great but also allows me to enjoy the evening without worrying about my outfit. Colour is another tricky decision. Bold shades can make a statement and stand out in photos, while softer tones or neutral colours have a timeless charm. Then, of course, there are the finishing touches—shoes, accessories, and maybe even a clutch bag to pull the whole look together. So I’m left wondering: should I go all in with a graduation dress to mark the occasion, or try something a little different but still celebratory? What would you wear if you were heading to your own graduation party?
