18Wunders Posted March 1, 2014 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Georgia May Jagger: I hated when mum came to school in her full make-up and fur Georgia May Jagger has revealed her glamorous mother Jerry Hall used to pick her up from school in “full make-up and fur” — but she wished she would just wear a tracksuit. The 22-year-old model, whose father is Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, still lives with her mother, 57, at the family home in Richmond they have occupied for 22 years. Despite her famous parents, Jagger insisted that she had a normal upbringing. In an interview about their home life, she said: “When you’re young, no one cares who your parents are, although mum would arrive to pick me up in her full hair and make-up and fur, and I used to say, ‘Can’t you just dress normally, like all the other mums?’ “I wanted her to blend in more, but I’ve always been really proud of mum — as proud as she is of me.” Hall added: “She’d say, ‘Mum, why can’t you wear a tracksuit?’” Hall began dating Mick Jagger in 1977. The couple married in 1990 and split in 1999. They had three other children together — Lizzie, 30, James, 28, and Gabriel, 16. Hall told Red magazine: “Because the kids are similar ages, the house has always been filled with girls and boys. “We’ve always had an open house. Every weekend their friends would sleep over, or we’d have them round for parties.” But Jagger said they were happiest when spending time as a family, saying: “We love just being at home in our pyjamas.” Hall added: “We love sitting by the fire and on Sundays we like to look at all the papers, have a big lunch and go for a walk in Richmond Park with the dogs.” Jagger has just returned to the family home after a spell in New York flat-sharing with Lizzie. James lives nearby, but Hall reveals he comes round to drop off washing. It's not her but I guess the intention to post it was that her name was on the cover. So maybe or for sure there is an article or an editorial about Georgia inside that magazine. Model Georgia, 22, was scheduled to walk for fashion designer Camilla Franks but pulled out after finding out the sad news. Georgia was said to have heard about L'Wren's suicide when she stepped out of a plane at Sydney airport. A few hours after touching down in Australia, she boarded another flight to be with her family. Meanwhile, it was revealed on Tuesday that Mick Jagger's band the Rolling Stones have cancelled their upcoming concert in Perth, Australia. The band announced they would not be performing the first concert of their Australia tour on Wednesday night as scheduled, via a Facebook message posted on Tuesday afternoon – L'Wren was found on Monday morning."We regret to announce that The Rolling Stones concert in Perth will not be going ahead as scheduled for Wednesday 19 March 2014," their promoter Frontier Touring wrote on the social media site. The Rolling Stones are expected to cancel the rest of the tour, but are yet to make an official statement. Meanwhile, Mick and Jerri Hall's daughter Georgia May has cancelled her appearance at Melbourne Fashion Week. The 22-year-old model was set to appear on the Aussie runway for local fashion designer Camilla Franks. The designer's spokesman said in a statement: "In light of the recent sad news, Georgia May Jagger will not be participating in Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival for the Camilla Grand Showcase. "We ask that you respect Ms Jagger and her family’s privacy at this very difficult time." Father and daughter were both in Australia when they were informed of the tragic news. Georgia had landed in Sydney on Tuesday to take a connecting flight to Melbourne when she was told. She has since flown out of Australia to be with her family in New York. While The Rolling Stones' jet is still in Perth, it is not known whether Mick and the band have flown out of Australia. Mick is "shocked and devastated" by the news that his girlfriend of 13 years committed suicide. The fashion designer was found by her assistant in her Manhattan apartment around 10am New York time on Monday morning.
