And most of them are more than willing to attend the cricket matches with him. Apparently, all the actors who’ve gone to cheer his team, have returned impressed with the host that he is. "He personally looks into everything from the minute you reach the airport the flight boarding, getting into the bus, a comfortable drive to the hotel and check-in, commuting to the venue, the food and everything else. (Star Plus) was first offered to Amitabh Bachchan. Bachchan turned down the show because he did not like the concept. Says a source, "Bachchan was the first choice for Paanchvi Paas… but after he declined the offer, SRK was approached for it."When contacted, Bachchan confirmed that Star Plus had come to him with Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? While rushing off to the airport to catch a flight to London for the press conference of Ravi Chopra's upcoming Bhootnath, Bachchan said, "Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? was discussed with me by Star as one of the possible shows they wanted me to do.
