February 16, 201510 yr Yup, pirating a pirate is an offense. Wouldn't scanning a copy of trade marked material then putting your own water mark on it be the original offense? Of course it is. Too much brightness on that photo btw. It's not an issue of legality, it's a courtesy to the scanner, who also happens to be a member of this forum. It's not like it's Egotastic slapping their mark on any old image they pull from Google.

It is an unwritten rule, especially among scanners, to not to mess with someone else's scans without their permission and to repost online. If you want to edit them for your own personal archive that's fine but please be respectful by not reposting them.
