You're only quarantined if you are positive for Covid-19 or if you're a suspected case, then it's 14 days quarantine and eventually two tests before you are allowed to go out again (at least in my country). Besides that people are asked to stay at home and only go out for necessary things like groceries or doc's appointment etc. What you're describing is the arrogance of ignorance of (young(er)) people and who don't understand the seriousness of the situation and that they are the primary disease vector because they are socially more active than older/elder people. In theory you can go out for a walk or whatever as long as you do it alone or only with the people you live at home and keep a distance to other people. (For this to be my first post in this forum... lol) my entire country is in quarantine, that's because all of us are positive in covid-19? you take the test here if you pay for it or if you have symptoms (and i've seen people with symptoms that have not take the test because they get ignored everytime they ask for it). if you're positive, you can't go out obviously. if you're not, you can go out for food, medicines, an emergency or a few more things but you can't spend the entire day outside like there, which makes sense to me. that 'quarantine' is pointless imo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just stick to the balcony or backyard. Anyone can catch COVID-19 without realizing it and the only reason to go out is for essentials and also walking your pets for a short period.
