It's tied at 5-5 with just over an hour to play. Any more votes for a last minute winner?

That makes it 6-5 to Brazil - The match will finish at 8PM GMT - just under half an hour to vote!

They think it's all over! It is now!

After Lais tore away to a predictable 4-0 lead, Daniela fought back to level up at 5 all. Eventually Lais scored a last minute winner to bring the Bellazon 2018 World Cup home to Brazil!

Thank you to everyone who took part - and congratulations to the top three models.....

Third Place

Egypt - Imaan Hammam

What a result for Egypt! Imaan Hammam has been superb, beating Shanina Shaik, Tanya Mityshina, Sarah Stephens, Camila Morrone and Josephine Skriver; she only lost to eventual champion Lais Ribeiro in a tough semi-final. Congratulations on a well earned third place.

Second Place

Colombia - Daniela Lopez Osorio

This has been a terrific tournament for Daniela, with big wins over Niamh Adkins, Toni Garrn and Jo Skriver. She came so close to an upset in the final, but in the end takes second place for Colombia.

Bellazon World Cup Champion 2018

Brazil - Lais Ribeiro

Football? Beautiful women? Perhaps it was inevitable that Brazil would win this competition, particularly when Lais has won so much on Bellazon recently that I'm pretty sure she would win a 'Models that aren't Lais Ribeiro' tournament right now. She went through every match unbeaten, and is a very deserving World Cup Champion!

LOVE the concept of this comp! And I love the top three as well, superb models ❤️

Thanks for taking part! I really enjoyed running it and will definitely do more in future alongside other sports tournaments. Euros, Women's World Cups and so on. Perhaps one for the Rugby and/or Cricket World Cups next year.

I guess I can give this one a pass because Lais actually went to Moscow to watch the final :D
