Just because other models post to instagram every time they step foot outside the house doesn't mean we as fans are entitled to pictures of Adriana's every day life. By now we should all know that Adriana is very private and I have no problem that she doesn't show us personal pics. I really don't like when fans think they are entitled to pics or info on here whereabouts.

I also don't like the whole she does projects for herself and not what the fans want and she doesn't please her fans. As fans we can either appreciate the ads/campaigns/shoots etc that she does or we can not agree with them because of the way they look or they styling or whatever reason. Yes, she's at the top now, so she's in the position to choose, but let's not forget that she would never have reached this status if there hadn't been her fans. Fans are everything, no matter if you're a model, a singer, an actress, an author or something else.

Even Gisele listens to her fans. I'm 100% sure she did runway the last few seasons because her fans requested. Why do you think celebs keep thanking their fans whenever they win an award or whatnot? Without fans, they won't be in business.

I agree with what everyone is saying to a point but again I can't stress it enough. I think some fans have become a little spoiled over the years. Fans are getting to greedy and to demanding. I have followed Adriana since the 2000 VSFS and year after year i'm impressed with her. It's not fair to say oh well Gisele did runway seasons cause her fans wanted it so why can't Adriana. Seriously? I highly doubt Gisele thought...hmm, my fans want me to do runway so I will. I'd almost guarantee that's not what happened. What has Adriana done that says hey that bitch isn't grateful at all?? Yes, fans help boost you but but they don't establish you! Adriana made a name for herself! I just don't understand how the argument "She forgot about her fans" holds ground. How do we know she forgot the fans? Because she is private and doesn't give fan shoutouts like other models? because she doesn't fill us in on everything she's doing? She has surprised us with new campaign's already even with a newborn and that's still not good enough for some fans. You have to remember she has a family now, she wants to be a good mother. Who knows she may not even want to do this anymore but puts in the effort for the few shoots that she does just for us fans. We just do not know. None of us will ever know for sure what goes on. It just sucks when you see all of this negativity going her way which I 100% think comes down to us fans being to spoiled. We need to let her be, let her settle down, relax and enjoy her family time. As much has she's given us over 14 years thats the least we can do for her. It makes it more fun that way when we get a surprise shoot like the Miu Miu ad we just got!

You can't establish yourself if there's nobody who wants to see you.

And VS just makes models angels who appeal to the crowd and sell their stuff.

I mean, just look at one of her achievements in establishing herself as a great model.

Due to this profit, other companies and magazines were encouraged to book her, because she obviously made a lot of dough.

Yeah adriana credits everybody even when t comes to the crew she shoots with. Which isn't usual. She's model not an entertainer. She doesn't have to be so focused on the fans. ESP not with how far she has gotten. Let her do what she wants to do.

Adriana started working for VS in late 1998 and became an Angel in 2000. Now if my memory serves me correct she was not this huuuge sensation to where VS said yep that girl will be an Angel. She was picked to be an Angel because of her looks, ability to walk and ability to shoot for VS. Adriana didn't start getting this mass following till 2003-2004 ish. During that time she was on the lowest level of the Angel chain compared to Heidi, Tyra, Gisele and even non angel Karolina. There were times when Fernanda, Ana and Isabeli were all way more known than Adriana. They could have not kept her and pushing her during that time but they did and that's without all of these fans. Right after the following in 2004 occured Adriana was for the most part established in this business. Yes, the fans that she garnered within 2003-2005 helped her massively and your very right, they did help her with the covers/editorials. I just don't think much would be different if she didn't have as many fans. She still would have climbed to the top of VS with Alessandra. I mean who else would they promote?

You do have to remember though there are fans and then there are people like us. The mega fans who follow her very very closely and post to sites like these. We make up a very small percentage of her fans. I would say less than 25%. The everyday fan of hers doesn't care if she does for her fans. They could probably care less what HF editorials she appears in because that's not why they like her. They like her for her looks. They know her from VSFS, GQ etc. So for me it's really hard to think she wouldn't have blown up simply because her look is so desirable. Like I said I do agree with you on what you say it's just I guess I have a different view of it I completely respect your views on it

Not, really, back in the early 2000s VS was promoting Adriana like any KK and Gisele. She was featured more prominently in commercials and catalogs than most of the girls. VS recognized she had what it took from the start which is why she was never downplayed. They always talked about her specialness. She even opened the 2003 show when much bigger angels were around. But she was more seen then heard (compared to better English speakers like K K and Gisele) due to her weak English. I guess you're right though, at the beginning, she didn't have that much fans.

That been said, I just visited her twitter and she's in Los Angeles. I hope it's for work. Or does she visit LA often?
