Marvel's The Inhumans

Featured Replies

Finally got around to watching a bit of it. I wouldn't say it was a trainwreck by any means, just underwhelming and very pedestrian. The dialogue is very stilted, with a lot of the cast sounding too similar in tone and vocabulary, and the script doesn’t really seem to allow for anyone to cut loose or show real character.

I did quite like Maximus, but that made me realise how much I was going to struggle with the story, because I couldn't really fault the reasoning for his coup. It's never a good sign when your villain seems more genuine than your heroes.
