Besides MGS2, Deus Ex (and also sci-fi novels) have stories about AI surveillance states, and a AI controlled media, government, economy, military, information, social engineering etc.

the comment section for this new cod game is interesting- usually anything NK related gets a lot of comments on people making fun of NK and now it's in reverse.

When I was in my 20s I tended to score center-right. As I get older I get more and more left wing.

Before I took this quiz I expected center left. I got far left with the quiz 93% match with Environmentalism:

My country is Greenland (Denmark) and Vermont USA (Bernie Sandersland). George Orwell.

I will take the larger quiz later, when I have time. Overall this middle quiz scored me more left than I expected.

I've pretty much always been a centrist leaning slightly left. Ah, classic woke pacifist, put on your flower hat and dress and go protest somewhere. Another interesting one is 59% protectionism... are you still waiting on your tariff check?

It's actually kind of interesting, because I always assumed people tend to drift more to the right as they get older, while you're basically doing the opposite.

I'm thinking about doing the 240-question version too (I did the 60-question version).

imho you would fit well with the US Democratic party.

TBH I am indifferent to Environmentalism or WOKE politics, I merely just answered the questionnaire. I don't fit in that well with hardcore Democrats like those in Blue Sky, it is simply not the way I think about this issues. I am much more cynical and not idealistic (George Orwell was probably correct), I think a lot of actions and proposed solutions are ultimately futile in the grand scheme of things and US society is mostly corrupt and messed up at this point. I also believe that the wage earners of the US are in serious trouble due to AI and also stiff competition from highly educated labor from India and China. Also the US is not competitive on international markets due to high labor costs.

The biggest fight against racism is actually done economically, not through woke politics. The US in inherently a very racist society, a large portion of the population are racists but they are outnumbered by minorities and non-racists. The elites who control most of the wealth and power however are both racist and class based, all are subhuman to them.

Also the incompetence, infinite greed, and corruption of elites and the elderly which hold the majority of the wealth and positions of power in society. I also see the military as completely corrupt and incompetent, and shouldn't be starting wars.

I started out center right (socially liberal, economically conservative/libertarian), but after years of watching the markets/economics, personal experience and traveling in the US it was obvious that the right was wrong on so many positions. I am sympathetic to Buddhist way of seeing the world without being one, and I think it's a better religion than Christianity.

I also became MORE conservative in the social side, mainly believing in traditional family values over the atomized life for normal people, while holding on to socially liberal positions on LGBT. I think suburban/rural life is much more psychologically healthy than city life on average.

I think what you say about people drifting to conservatism was correct for the Baby Boomers like my parents and Gen X but this is not the case for the 'Greatest Generation (WW2)", younger and poorer generations, who are drifting more towards European/Nordic style socialism and will continue to do so after the failure of Trumpism and the serious problems with debt, jobs, and inflation.

I think the 60 question quiz didn't give an accurate enough summary of my views so I will have to take the 240 question one.
