Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz Are Engaged – and Expecting!

Talk about music to your ears! Not only are private power couple Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz engaged to be married, they are having a baby.

The announcement comes after the two, together since fall 2008, attended Thursday night's Black Ball in London, which benefits Keys's Keep a Child Alive charity.

"They're very happy," says a friend of the couple, while reps confirm to PEOPLE the nuptials will take place "in a private ceremony later this year."

Alicia Keys & Her Baby Bump Tumble On Stage

Alicia Keys had the audience in gasps at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans when she fell while singing Love Is Blind in this weekend's mishap caught on video.

The singer, 29, landed on her rear, got up without a hitch, and her baby-to-be is reportedly fine. Reps for Keys and her fiancé Swizz Beatz confirmed in May that the duo is expecting their first child.

Secrets of Alicia Keys Wedding and Vera Wang Dress

Alicia Keys' weekend wedding in Corsica, France, to Swizz Beatz revealed that Vera Wang remains the undisputed queen of the bridal gown.

As if designing Chelsea Clinton's wedding dress, in addition to those of her bridesmaids, wasn't enough, our friends at StyleList just received confirmation that Keys also wore Wang during her July 31 nuptials in Corsica.

The pregnant 29-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer donned an ivory silk, georgette-draped goddess gown with jewel detail on the back shoulder, a spokesperson for the designer told StyleList.

Keys completed her beautiful bridal look with a jeweled headpiece and a cascading bouquet of purple calla lilies. PopEater has learned that the headpiece was originally a one-of-a-kind necklace that was reworked by Jacob & Co. into a custom fitted 60 carat diamond halo designed especially for Keys.

Music producer Swizz Beatz (aka Kasseem Dean), 31, wore a white Tom Ford tuxedo and didn't hold back his emotions, tweeting "Wowwwwwwwwww" the night of the wedding, followed by: "It's a brand new day I feel like Nas and Diddy song love y'all and blessing!"

Alicia Keys Has a Baby Boy

These days, Alicia Keys is in a motherhood state of mind.

The singer and her husband, Swizz "Kaseem Dean" Beatz, "joyfully welcomed their first child," son Egypt Daoud Dean, on Oct. 14 in New York City, reps for the couple confirm in a statement to PEOPLE.

This is the couple's first child, though Egypt "is welcomed by Beatz's three other children," the statement adds.

Keys, 29, and Beatz, 32, are not only new parents together – they are also newlyweds. The singer and the rapper-producer were married in a private ceremony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in July. At the time, the two didn't know the gender of their child, but Swizz Beatz said they were excited to start a family together.

"Whatever we're blessed with, that baby is being born to blessed parents," he told PEOPLE at the time. "Alicia is definitely one of those great parents-to-be. She's super ready. Super glowing. Super happy."

On Thursday night, he seemed to be in a reflective mood, Tweeting, "I'm so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life."
