Lumi
Yes, they're both German shows, but have competition. I'm afraid that'll also mean they're going to dub Bar's voice into a German one, subtitles aren't regularly used Or we'll get subtitles like VOX did it with Karolina for her model show with Eva Padberg. I haven't watched the show very often but I saw it from time to time and VOX used subtitles and no stupid dubbing voice. (I really hope that Pro7 will do it with subtitles because the dubbing voices for models are most of the time very high-pitched and awful.) Kerri Lynn
Bar Refaeli drips arthouse style in new underwear ad BAR Refaeli and her agents know what sells. Her. Preferably in a wet T-Shirt. The new advert for her underwear collection, under.me, has the Israeli model diving into a pool in a sheer white top and thong and performing somersaults. The end of the video has her climbing out of the pool, with the camera lingering on her bottom and chest. But this isn't porn; it's a commercial, so there has to be a degree of respectability. So out come all the tricks to make that happen. 1. The video is shot in black and white, so it's on the same footing as an arthouse film. 2. It features a slightly melancholy, Snow Patrol-esque soundtrack, not a sleazy sax or a hardcore dance beat. A Michael Nyman track would have worked just as effectively. 3. Bar begins the film on a sun lounger reading a hardback. It's not the latest Janet Evanovich, it's a classic, possibly poetry. 4. She's wearing thick black glasses - always the sign of an intellectual. And she keeps them on throughout the entire commercial. That's dedication to her art. 5. The final shots aren't of Bar's dripping body, but of a child on beach and a score sheet blowing in the wind before the camera cuts back to bar on the lounger reading her important book (was it all a dream?). Bar is not just a model - of the super or wet-t-shirt kind - she is something of a philosopher too. Her profile tag on her Twitter account is the Oscar Wilde line, "To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all" from The Soul of a Man Under Socialism. Underneath is a "?". She's either questioning the fabric of our consumer society or she's the Riddler. http://www.news.com....8#ixzz1zcDumaGv Thanks a lot Adira for the new pictures of Bar promoting Especially Escada Delicate Notes in Berlin. She looks so stylish and elegant in her pink suit. A real treat! She tweeted she was leaving for Paris tomorrow! So we might get some new pictures!
