toodarnhot Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Quote In 1946, Peggy Carter must balance the routine office work she does for the Strategic Scientific Reserve while secretly assisting Howard Stark, who finds himself framed for supplying deadly weapons to the top bidder. Carter is assisted by Stark's butler, Edwin Jarvis, to find those responsible and dispose of the weapons. Season Premiere: January 2015 Cast: Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa and Shea Whigham as Chief Roger Dooley Quote
toodarnhot Posted October 30, 2014 Author Posted October 30, 2014 I had to start this thread because I'm way too damn excited about the latest casting news. Marvel’s Agent Carter has filled another key role with another notable name. Nikita and How I Met Your Mother actress Lyndsy Fonseca is joining the cast of the upcoming ABC action series. The Captain America spin-off signed Fonseca to play Angie Martinelli, an aspiring actress who befriends Peggy (Hayley Atwell). Lyndsy was phenomenal on Nikita. I cannot wait to see if her role on Agent Carter develops into her character having some involvement in SHIELD. Quote
Kevork89 Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 OMG I am so excited for this. I gave up on Agents of SHIELD. But I know this is going to be so good. Hayley is amazing and I have loved Lyndsy Fonseca since she first started acting. This is going to be so good. I was bummed when Nikita ended Quote
Michael* Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Here's the 'micro-teaser' released by Marvel last night. Dreadful tagline aside, it's pretty exciting. Quote
Michael* Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Oh Channel 4, you used to treat your US shows so well. Last year, for reasons best known to themselves, they put Agents of SHIELD on hiatus for months while the Winter Soldier connection was almost completely lost, and now it would seem they've no interest in picking up Agent Carter for the UK. Almost makes me wish Sky had gotten hold of the Marvel stuff show instead, they would have bought into the continuity the same way they have with Arrow and Flash. Quote
tiika Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 OMG!!! why the hell I didn't know about this happening???? this looks so great! Quote
Michael* Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Here's the first full-length scene from the show, in 'sneak peek' form. Quote
Michael* Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Victory rolls at the ready, the show has finally been snapped up by a UK broadcaster. Should be hitting our screens next month. Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 It also got a second season, with two extra episodes. Quote
Michael* Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Great news, hopefully I won't be too out of touch with the continuity by then. In a perfect world, Fox would take it one step further by obtaining the rights to the second season straight away and showing it 24 hours after the US broadcast, like they do with The Walking Dead. Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 The action will be moved to Los Angeles, probably because it makes more sense production wise.Though this might mean some of the season one cast is not returning. Quote
Michael* Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 That's interesting. If the plan is to have Carter cross the country for an assignment of some kind, it's probably safe to assume that not everybody will be coming with, unless they're going down the 'coastal hopping' route. It's possible that viewers could be put off a bit if Peggy (even though she's the title character) is the only returning cast member. Quote

I think her room mate is going to come as well, since they have an built-in reason for her to move to California (she is an aspiring actress). Quote
toodarnhot Posted July 3, 2015 Author Posted July 3, 2015 They've already confirmed Jarvis and Sousa for the 2nd season, and I'll bet they finalize CMM and Lyndsy's involvement at SDCC this year. Quote

Michael* Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Also, do we get to see much of the Howling Commandos in season one? I had hoped for more of Dum Dum and the others after the first Captain America movie. Quote
