Blake Lively: A Fashion Force To Be Reckoned With

Blake, much like her "Gossip Girl" character Serena, appears to have a way of drawing the attention of anyone and everyone around her, something she has very clearly done in the world of fashion.

Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel's creative director, loves her evident in Blake's Changel handbag campaign.

Michael Kors also adores her, intrigued by what he calls her "too cool for school" sense of style and way of life.

Blake does always look effortlessly cool, combining west and east coast looks into a style all her own.

Jeans, t-shirts, chunky knits and boots are Lively's staple items, quoted calling winter her favorite season because she gets to layer and bundle up.

But then, of course, there is the Blake we see on the red carpet, a flawless, classy, blonde bombshell.

According to Alexandra Kotuv, Vogue style director, Lively entered the realm of fashion during the 2009 Met Ball when she wore a blue Versace gown.

"That was when it all started," said Kotuv. Since then, Blake has covered 3 Vogue editions.

Whether walking the streets of New York in a scarf and boots, playing dress up as Serena or walking a red carpet, Blake is clearly a fashion fan favorite.

So yes Blake, you caught us...you know we love you.

Im ticked cos this not only puts the kibosh on a BLEO reunion I was hoping for

But Blake as a young actress and international covergirl not only needs men to want her but women to like her and is those comments on People are a tame barometer of what people think then shes in a heck of ish

Same here, I think deep down I was really hoping for a reunion but they both seem to have moved on so.... But the more I think of it, the more I can see why it may have ended e.g. Leo's whole anti-paparazzi schtick. Like even though Ryan is also anti papz he seems a little bit more chill. Plus I think Ryan will also be a lot more affectionate (in public) than Leo was. Like if they are in public I dont think he's going to pretend like he doesnt know her. I dont think there was that amny pics of Ryan and Scarlett together...whatever as long as she's happy then I guess I will have to be. He does seem like a nice guy so......................................................lol

To be honest it doesnt really matter who she's with, cos I just realised that Blake makes who ever dating look 100x more appealing lol.

I agree that her team needs to evaluate how she is portrayed because it can effect her career if it gets too much. But I think at the moment she is alright because the ppl that "matter" (i.e the industry; directors,producers, designers) love her - there is rarely (if ever) a bad word said about her. All this negativity is just your usual blog haters etc. who seem to have a thing against her - I dont think she can do anything right. Even when she's not doing anything; shes labelled as boring, then when she is she's a famewhore. She just cant win.

But in saying that her team needs to address some of her public relations issue; like I really didnt like how they handled the whole "nude pic" saga. It just made it look like she/they leaked it.

Blake Lively visits Ryan Reynolds on set for his birthday and leaves him her dog wrapped in balloons as a present. Blake was visiting the set of “R.I.P.D.” in Boston where she poked her head out of Ryan’s trailer and watched Ryan ride his bike around the set.

When she left, she left her little Maltipoo Penny by his trailer wrapped in balloons as a birthday gift. Ryan celebrated his 35th birthday today, October 23.

Agreed with a lot of what you said. Right now I'm just looking forward to casting/campaign news, I'm going to refrain from talking about her personal/dating life.

Frankly, right now I don't give a flying f*ck about who she is or she isn't dating or what some bitter, inconsequential bloggers think and give even a lesser f*ck what their frustrated at life commenters think.

With regards to her PR, she has the same person as Penn, Zoe Saldana, M. Fox, Renee Z. etc, her PR isn't as diabolical as the haters think it is. I think she's just got a lot of heat on her right now which isn't necessarily her fault. After all, what is the nature of celebrity if not to build someone up and then tear them down.

I know it's frustrating to not have real news, but after filming TV series and movie at the same time (while trying to keep a relationship afloat, at that) I can see why she would want a break. Honestly I'd rather she take some time for herself than take some stupid role just to work or show up for the opening of an envelope, like many actors do.

If paps are going to follow her home or to a movie set there's not a lot she can do about it. She can't live her life based on what they do, or what assorted strangers on gossip sites think (but if you must, don't ignore all the positive comments -- the tweeties have been generally kind ).

Keep your head down and just keep going is what she has said, and I read this from Ryan in a recent GQ interview: "I choose to remain as private as possible without being secretive." I think both are healthy, mature approaches but I'm not going to judge how anyone who has their privacy invaded chooses to deal with it because they're not the ones doing anything wrong in the first place.

As much as I dug Leo and Blake as a couple, if they are happy then I'm happy for them. The last thing I would want for them (or selfishly speaking, for me as a fan of both) is to struggle with an on-off relationship for years. Better to cut your losses and go find what makes you happy.

But yes, casting news, pretty please! It's a shame the filming schedules for Savages and the Oz film with Sam Raimi clashed so she couldn't do both. Savages sounds more promising tbh, but I'm sorry she missed the opportunity to work with another great director. Hopefully they will have a chance to work together again in the near future. And I would think that shoot she did recently (per Chanel makeup artist) should be showing up soon, non?
