Blake Lively is more than just a huge fan of Florence and the Machine, she's become really good friends with the singer.

Florence Welch recently revealed she and Blake go way back:

"[blake] actually came to our very first New York show. She's been to all of the shows that we've done in America and she flew out to Las Vegas just because I was performing there over the New Year."

In fact, Blake's the one responsible for booking Flo on Gossip Girl.

The redhead adds:

"She asked if I wanted to come on Gossip Girl and so we were already friends. I love Blake. She's a great girl!"

They're like ying-yang to each other. Florence interviewed Blake for her Glamour July feature earlier this year and they both planned Blake's Chanel dinner together, with Florence performing in the end. Such sweethearts

I love her and Flo together, they are so adorable, like 2 cheeky school girls lol. Plus when the smile/laugh they sort of look like sisters lol. And that Flo and Leo pic is cute in hindsight - at that time it just look like any other random picture from a celeb party.

thanks for all the news etc. The show choir vid is hilarious to me cos we dont do things like that here in the UK. Plus I remember in one of her 1st interviews for GG (the one with Penn) she said how she fought hard to be on the show choir team even though she couldnt dance or sing - and how some of the other girls were mean to her cos they thought her parents bribed the choir leader I guess somethings never change; even at a young age she had jealous haters lol.
