Sanni
Quote Harvey Weinstein Jets off to Rehab 10/11/2017 5:29 PM PDT Harvey Weinstein has just taken off to get treatment for behavioral issues that include sex addiction ... TMZ has learned. The fallen mogul took a private jet from Van Nuys Airport bound for Arizona. He's set to land in the city of Wickenburg near the highly respected Meadows rehab center. Our sources say some people on his team wanted Harvey to receive treatment at The Meadows facility, but we are getting conflicting information as to whether or not that is the place he will be receiving treatment. We have confirmed, however, he will be getting treatment at an inpatient program. Our camera was at the airport when Weinstein arrived, but a member of his entourage was anything but happy to see us. TMZ reported on Tuesday that Weinstein was set to leave the country for rehab. We now know the destination was Switzerland, but the plan changed and he and his team decided he would get treatment in the United States. If he is receiving treatment at The Meadows, the facility is equipped to handle behavioral issues and sex addiction. The Meadows has a program called Gentle Path ... a 45-day inpatient rehab for those with sex addiction issues. The program includes equine therapy, expressive arts therapy, meditation, yoga and intensive counseling. http://www.tmz.com/2017/10/11/harvey-weinstein-plane-arizona-rehab-sex-addiction/
jkjk
The celebrity default is to go to rehab in hopes people forgive them or feel sorry for them. I hope that doesn't happen for him. As a serial sexual harasser/abuser, I hope he pays for his actions in some way.
Sanni
Yeah, it’s hard to imagine a serial rapist in his sixties having the ability to be rehabilitated. That way of thinking goes very deep and it seems that he enjoyed the aspect of overpowering women etc. sexually. He certainly could have had a number of willing women considering how rich and successful he was.
Sanni
Quote EXCLUSIVE - Harvey's f**k you to the world: Defiant Weinstein surfaces in LA with his middle fingers high after threatening suicide to his daughter and whining he has been abandoned by his friends as he finally heads to rehab in Arizona Harvey Weinstein looked bedraggled Wednesday in Los Angeles, a day after he said he would be flying to Europe to attend sex rehab By Wednesday evening however, Harvey's rehab plans had changed drastically as he was heading to a sex rehab not in Europe, but in Arizona Meanwhile DailyMail.com has learned the FBI opened an investigation into Weinstein and his originally planned sex rehab trip to Europe was at issue His original hasty international departure plans sparked fears of a Roman Polanski-style situation, where he dodges prosecution in the U.S Earlier Wednesday Weinstein gave people the middle finger while with an entourage of others on his visit to his lawyer's office around noontime It is said Weinstein could be headed to The Meadows, a treatment facility in Arizona with a focused sex addiction program More: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4972056/Weinstein-LA-middle-fingers-law-offices.html
SympathysSilhouette
Sex rehab is bullshit. His crimes have nothing to do with a sex addiction. Plenty of people with sex addiction, in fact, the large majority, don't resort to sexual assault or rape to get their kicks. His pathology is far more nefarious. CandleVixen
^ Agree. It was power tripping, plain and simple. Perpetuating the casting couch is just sick and wrong. Sick in a way any kind of rehab would fix. And it goes back further than just movies in Hollywood. And not just movies. Music, stage, literary, hell even regular corporations do that. Maybe Weinstien's fall will be the start of everyone saying Enough. Stop. We can do and should do better.

More realistic is that nothing will change and Weinstein will be allowed back into the industry, eventually. My guess is sometime in the next 24-36 months. 17 Moments of Spring
Quote Hollywood, Interrupted is a sometimes frightening, occasionally sad, and frequently hysterical odyssey into the darkest realms of showbiz pathology, the endless stream of meltdowns and flameouts, and the inexplicable behavior on the part of show business personalities. Charting celebrities from rehab to retox, to jails, cults, institutions, near-death experiences and the Democratic Party, Hollywood, Interrupted takes readers on a surreal field trip into the amoral belly of the entertainment industry. Each chapter — covering topics including warped Hollywood child-rearing, bad medicine, hypocritical political maneuvering and the complicit media — delivers a meticulously researched, interview-infused, attitude heavy dispatch which analyzes and deconstructs the myths created by the celebrities themselves. Celebrities somehow believe that it's their god-given right to inflict their pathology on the rest of us. Hollywood, Interrupted illustrates how these dysfunctional dilettantes are mad as hell... And we're not going to take it any more. http://eu.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-0471706248.html https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/642169.Hollywood_Interrupted
