 Ewciolina, the Laetitia's transparency gown is so :woot:

Now D&G behind the scenes video is also available on Youtube. It's the most beautiful commercial I have ever seen. I am so happy that Laetitia got this campaign

Amazing Ewciolina. The Alien believes that according to new scenes in Erice,

there will be a longer version of the movie. Can't wait for it.

Thanks Floppy for the interview from the Gazetta. The Alien likes how Laetitia talks with the hands and the melody of her Italian voice while she fighted against a beam of sun.

For Kiki, :alien: presents Josephine and Roxanne about Kiss of the Damned at the 69th Venice Film Festival.

:chicken: :chicken: :chicken: :chicken: :chicken: :chicken:

There was a potential inversion of prizes between the Silver Lion and the Special Jury prize.

:chicken: :chicken: :chicken: :chicken: :chicken: :chicken:

However Laetitia masters the situation and finally presents the Silver Lion to the Master by Paul Thomas Anderson instead of Paradise: Faith by Ulrich Seidl. Let us wait for the video to review what happens with those prizes.

Pieta by Kim Ki-duk won the Golden Lion.

make%20it%20clap.gif Ewciolina,

Even in the most delicate instant, Laetitia is confident with a large smile speaking in English with translation in Italian.

This is the live demonstration of the Winged Lion of St. Mark, the flag of Venice and logo of International Film Festival.

The Silver lion (**) wanted to fly out of the box held by Ulrich Seidl, the film director of Paradise: faith.

In a first step, he keeps the Winged Lion with some balanced exercices inside the red box.

But when Laetitia announces: "it is a little mistake that happens sometimes", calling back the representative of the very temporary Special Jury Prize to exchange the prizes, all of a sudden, the Silver Winged Lion flies until the ... ground.

And Laetitia for the very first time in an International Film Festival says in the microphone: in English in the text.

Once felt on the earth, the Silver Winged Lion resuscitates as the Phoenix (*) in the hands of The Master's representative, the actor Philip Seymour Hoffman who won the Coppa Volpi for Best Actor for this movie.

Paul Thomas Anderson, the American film director of The Master could not attend the ceremony of awards.

(*) Pun intented: Joaquin Phoenix was on the red carpet no so far from Elie Saab-clad peachy (**) Laetitia but needed to leave Venice. He won with Philip Seymour Hoffman the Coppa Volpi for Best Actor (tie).

(**): Religious reference to the forbidden fruit since Peachy sounds a little bit in French as "péché" (sin).

The Ulrich Seidl's movie Paradies: Glaube (Paradise: faith) starring Maria Hofstätter is about the faith,

while the Golden Lion is Pieta by Kim Ki-duk starring Cho Min-soo and Lee Jung-jin.

Ewciolina, did you notice how Peter Ho-Sun Chan, member of jury just behind Laetitia --it was not the worst place :hehe:--, "tickles" her ... back when Laetitia comes back to her seat of jury at the front row, putting down the microphone still open on the seat of the president of the jury?

The sound engineer remotely switches off :pinch: the microphone.

The Alien would never know what the Hong Kong film director says to Laetitia to make her smiling... :wub2:

 the Alien agrees with your pictorial choices, Rob

Ewciolina, about the Harper's Bazaar, maybe less flowers in the bunch since Spring is over... It's just an idea...

Ooops....but  Laetitia  did well...

Rob, Laetitia did not announce a wrong prize since it is not the role of the member of jury to announce an award.

It is not Kasia, the Mistress of Ceremonies who made any wrong announcement. But it is Laetitia who restablishes on the podium the order of awards: No 2 the Silver Lion & No 3 the Special Jury Award.

After the No #1 award of the Godlen Lion, everybody feels in the audience that something sounded wrong for the second award since the Silver Lion should be announced before the Special Jury Award. However the staff and the journalists did not react until Laetitia took the microphone after that the third award had been announced and given.

Congratulations, Laetitia

LA Times fixed the inversion as all others journalists.

There is still a Cineuropa tweet that gives evidence of the inversion but of course their article has been also fixed.
