The ritual burning of a candle (cierge) on Wednesday night after the very first (half) positive review by Kiki about Sous les jupes des filles led to an extraordinary event: For the week #2, the movie will get 67 additional copies (on a total of 406 copies vs. 339). In living memory, as far back the Alien remembers the Laetitia’s filmography, it is extremely promising and rare (as previous example, one could quote the momentum of Gainsbourg (a heroic life), also a first movie). stella Posted June 7, 2014 Share Posted June 7, 2014 I don't know if someone talk about this (I've a lot of post to read and see^^) but according to french news Laetitia will play Arletty for french TV channel France 2 : http://www.toutlecine.com/cinema/l-actu-cinema/0002/00029451-laetitia-casta-dans-la-peau-d-arletty-pour-france-2.html It will not be a biopic but it will speak about an episode of the Arletty's life during the Second World War. She will have for partners Marie-Josée Croze, Joséphien Draï and the German actor Ken Duken.The shooting will begin June 12th and will end on July 11th in Paris. Can't wait !!!! If you did not do it already, it's time to join such a rare cinematographic event in the French theaters. Unbelievable, Sous les jupes des filles by Audrey Dana won 136 copies in a week on a total of 619 copies. Does this funny girly comedy become a serious trend? This has never been seen for a Laetitia’s movie. Let us hope that this momentum will continue and progress to reach the feast of the Cinema at the end of the month and beyond. About the reviews, one could read: - the good: CinéChronicles, L’Express - the bad: It’s too funny: Nouvel Obs decided to send more than one scud tactical ballistic missile against the movie.
