 Ewciolina,

Same bedroom at George V hotel.

Same hairstyle and white headdress of the bride.

Same powerful lipstick.

Same lingerie that one guesses under her wedding dress in the cleavage.

The sex scene in Une Histoire d'amour.. (Y) Should be available soon.

I already fast-forwarded through the whole movie after downloading it from iTunes. There's nothing to see.

Midnight Express for Ondine

In prison slang, "Midnight Express" is the ultimate hope of an imaginary train at midnight for an inmate's escape attempt.

Reading this waffle, you could create the mood listening to the Giorgio Moroder's music from the movie Midnight Express (1978).

Ondine did not have any drug :atoobie: on her :no2:

contrary to Billy Hayes in the Alan Parker's movie that does not promote sightseeing in Turkey.

... but a wedding gown of tulle.

She has a veil as in certain religions, a bridal veil of tulle as transparent as water in aquatic weightlessness.

This video was shot in the Lieu Unique in Nantes 2007 but became topical on Sunday October 20, 2013.

Transformed into a building for exhibitions, the Lieu Unique was an old railway station,

the perfect location for our train in the title. 1671.jpg

Ondine took the Midnight Express from Alaca Imaret to Moni Lazariston in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Nymphea at the 4th Thessaloniki Biennale, Greece: "Everywhere but now"

A month before on September 18, 2013 was the inauguration of the 4th Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art "Old Intersections - Make it New" featuring exhibitions and events until January 31, 2014 including the screening of the Ange Leccia's movie Nymphea in Alaca Imaret. Two Ondine's pictures illustrate the program.

This year, Tuesday October 15, 2013 (year 1434 in Islamic calendar) was the Eid al-Adha (this Feast of the Sacrifice has some analogies in other religions). In Muslim world, it is an important religious holiday where often Turkish tourists visit Greece including Thessaloniki (Salonique). Some of them saw the movie and they did not appreciate it.

According to the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet Daily News on Sunday October 20, 2013, Macedonia-Thracian Muslims Education and Culture Association asked for removing the Nymphea movie because it was screened on the Alaca Imaret's wall, an old mosque even if this closed mosque is become a building in restoration only for exhibitions but not to pray or to worship. Its minaret was destroyed in 1912 when Thessaloniki in the region of Macedonia was annexed to Greece.

If one could dare the comparison, ...

the old railway station Lieu Unique in Nantes did not welcome any trains since years.

Nymphea, Nantes 2007-2009-2012

The newspaper illustrated its article with a picture that seems to be extracted from the video in Nantes 2007.

The title looks amazing: "'Erotic video' displayed in Greek mosque angers :mad:Turk society" :ninja:

Because of the religious sensitivities, Nymphea is considered in this part of the world as erotic!

The issue became diplomatic between Turkey and Greece since the Turkish Ambassador in Athens asked Greek officials for the withdrawal of the movie.

Under the pressure of the Turkish government, the screening of movie was removed from the former mosque. The choice for the screening was finally in Moni Lazariston, an old ... monastery created by the Lazaristes, a congregation of Catholic monks from the Saint Lazare French church.

As for the Alaca Imaret old mosque, one no longer prays in Moni Lazariston old monastery, which is become the Greek State Museum of Contemporary Art (SMCA) in Thessaloniki.

The director of the Thessaloniki Biennale and SMCA president  phoned the film director Ange Leccia to warn him.

He agreed about the move of the work. Her letter is published on Facebook Art of the World with two pictures, before in Alaca Imaret then after in Moni Lazariston. This demonstrates that the movie was not screened outside on the wall of the mosque but in an old room not yet fully restored of Alaca Imaret. The room in Moni Lazariston is more modern however the initial choice inside the old architecture of Alaca Imaret (colored hospice) could echo the screening in 2007 on the walls of the old Fontevraud Abbey whatever the religions.

In the mythological country of Sirens

Thessaloniki is also known as the Bride of the Thermaic Gulf in Aegean Sea, a good reason to attract Ondine!

post-19430-1223681935_thumb.jpg

Laetitia, the bride of the Greek fashion show Celia Kritharioti, Athens on November 21, 1999

Could the film director Ange Leccia guess that the screening of his movie will become an affair of state

in the country of Sirens of Homer's Odyssey? Mermaid.jpg

:chicken: Affair of state between Greece and Turkey :chicken: Nymphea erotic? :blink:obscene? :o

In Greece, Athens voice quoted Laetitia in the title and claimed that the movie is not obscene.

Italian news agency Agenzia Nazionale Stampa Associata Mediterranean (ANSAmed) on October 21, 2013 wrote "ex" before mosque in the title and "Ondine" in the editorial about Laetitia!

In Turkey, the English-language daily newspaper Today's Zaman titled:

"Inappropriate video in Greek mosque sparks outrage".

They report that the mayor did not agree that the movie was screened (again) in his city but the Greek government confirmed the screening in another location of Thessaloniki.

Haberler in "Video showing the mosque led to the crisis in Greece" published the Nantes video without quoting the source (skiping the first seconds of the video) but was the rare newspaper publishing the real picture of the screening in an empty room of Alaca Imaret where one can still see the holes in the walls...

... that could mean that the mosque was disused but it was not a sufficient reason.

"SANATTA MüSTEHCENLIK olmaz" could be translated into "ART is not OBSCENITY".

That is to say that this film was not considered as art  but as obscene. :pinch:

Pay attention that the "ex", "former", "closed" or "old" prefixes disappear in front of "mosque" in Turkish press with titles such as: "scandal in a mosque". Quickly the word "erotic" becomes "XXX movie". :sex:

Journalists even replaced the Ondine's picture with a photo of ...

another movie without Laetitia featuring a topless actress  getting undressed in front of a dude.

There is not any dude in Nymphea movie and Ondine keeps her wedding gown of tulle.

:MLA: You know in the water, one does not see the tears. :cry2:

When the movie was screened on the Fontevraud Abbey's walls in 2007, the Holy See in Vatican City did not banish the film. Nobody was excommunicated. One did not burn at the stake any mermaids as the Holy Inquisition did it with the relapse Joan of Arc on May 30, 1431 in Rouen ( :heart:Normandy hence the year 1978  in the beginning where the Midnight Express movie was released) and one did not drown any salamanders...

... in canal Saint Felix in Nantes where the legend tells of Ondine who could appear in the waters at nightfall.

In this year 1434 of the Islamic calendar

(not in medieval times, where Charles Martel :ridinghorse: ended Muslim advances in the battle of Poitiers in October 732, but nowadays in 2013),

the right of asylum was granted to Ondine

traveling in the Thessaloniki Midnight Express post-10177-0-1446018276-63526_thumb.gif

from an old former closed disused mosque

to take refuge in an old former closed monastery sanctuary

transformed into the modern Greek State Museum of Contemporary Art that welcomes any culture.

On October 22, 2013, a week after the Feast of the Sacrifice, the European Union reopened the negotiations for the accession of Turkey to the European Union.

Le Monde: "L'UE relance les négociations d'adhésion avec la Turquie"

BBC: "EU agrees to restart Turkey membership talks next month".

Lol^^ so true! ready to bite you minicanard2.gif

not the most flattering pictures of Laetitia

Oh God, a lot of waffle are about to to come about smiles &  Barbara d'Alessandri & vampires & vamps & menstruations & blood & Ondine (are we having dinner? < private joke) & Polanski &  laugh & tears and certainly a smurf somewhere? Can't wait!

Dear all, I have a question of the D&G Intense perfume. The behind scene video has been revealed for a long time, but I did not remember the video campaign has ever appeared. Have I missed it?
