    Hmm well u kno i just ALWAYS always wanted to be a model...And it's not like i just wanted to i always thought ,when i was little that i must start and i will be , all my life i've thought of that , but then i never started and that's what i'm blamin myself the most for i should've when i was like 13 , now i'm 16 but i'm 2 short anyways and not a tooth pick what i used to be lol.

    And just went they say she started only to earn some pocket money she never expected things to get that big...Scoring major campaigns and walking the runways of biggest designers...And i just started to cry :cry:

    And that happened before too watchin videoes of Adriana Lima...

    Becouse soo many models started from nothing , and got so far... But it's not only up to looks , personality & etc they are lucky too , becouse other girls with their looks & strenths never make it big...They just weren't lucky...

    Don't get me wrong i am not Emotional at ALL , and i don't cry often , ever , but that's the only thing that actually makes me cry ever...

    It doesn't happen really often that supermodels are gorgeous in real life. In the case of Doutzen, with the first look it's a fact that she is beautiful, very beautiful.

    And she is sweet. Really sweet. Wich is also something unusual with models.

    Now the world consists of thousands of models wich claim to have stayed ''normal''.

    U know the type.

    Sweet smiling, until the roomservice gets 30seconds too late with their low-fat burger.Than it's from one to another, a big drama. To yell at the nice staff of the luxuous hotels and cry about a bossy mother.

    Doutzen is another story.

    That does virtue..

    She drinks modelicious another glas of water and smiles about the compliments Im giving her.

    ''I don't really know yet. Traveling, spoiling people I love. Making live beautiful.''

    What do you like most about yourself?

    ''The inner me. Alright, that must sound really spiritual. I think I need to have it from my irradiation, from the whole package. It's not only my ears and lovely lips wich are working for me.

    Moreover I always feel a little weird telling what I like most about myself.

    But Im 21years with my looks now, and we are really happy together.''

    What do you dislike the most about yourself?

    ''That's a way easier question to answer. My toes. Feet are weird things anyway. I don't know anyone with nice feet. Knees are also kinda odd.''

    Would you go under the knife?

    ''At the moment, not in any case. Im not really fond of that kinda surgery. I already had a lot of trouble with my earrings. Actually dying my hair is already a hard thing to me. For L'oreal they dyed my hair and actually I didn't like that at all. But Im talking like a 21year old girl now.

    I don't know how I'll think about it in twinty years. Maybe if everything starts hanging Im dying to see a plastic surgerer. But on the moment, it''s a no-no.''

    What do you think about the beauty image of these days?

    ''I think it's all a bit odd, if you ask me. People are acting hysterical over looks. Im getting another treatment, because people think Im pretty. I don't understand that. Everybody has got his/her own look, and to idealise a certain look, is a bit silly. Because if you place something really high, you're excluding so much! I think its sad that girls are starving themselves to look like a certain image. You'll get hungry at a time. I wouldn't do it. The media dictates, and its unbelievable that the whole world wants to look like Paris Hilton. Their are a lot of different kinds of beauty.''

    Do you think you're pretty? (do you find yourself pretty)

    ''There are days of wich Imr eally happy with the way I look and days that I don't. Than I've got a bad hair day and ramparts. Moreover im around so much beautiful girls these days, it makes me insecure. ''

    Do you have a beauty regime(nt) ?

    ''I eat healthy, take time to rest, but Im just letting it blow his way actually.Im young and my skin is still working with me. Im really serious about my job and I can't appear on work with a sleepy face. ''

    Do you have a style icon?

    ''I think Kate Moss is special. The big fuss about that cocain drama is ridiculous to me. She does her thing, is a great model, fact.''

    What's the best compliment you've ever got?

    ''I was on this Versace party in New York. A party with Jennifer Lopez, Nicolas Cage, Kate Hudson.

    I was actually pretty bored. But when I got in the elevator, Cindy Crawford told me that she thought I was pretty. That was a big compliment, especially from her! She asked me to go out and after a while I was dining with a lot of celebs.''

    What does that life do between celebrity's and you?

    ''I think its really nice to see all those people, But I don't feel the need to shake hands with all of them. That is so pushy. Chris Martin from Coldplay asked me to go out and before I knew it, I was sitting with him, Gwyneth Platrow and Jay-Z on a table. That was amazing. ''

    Aren't your friends from Friesland (a state in The Netherlands) jealous of you?

    ''I don't tell them everything, because that comes across excessively. It is kinda unreal. Sitting in the same room as Donatella Versace and all those movie stars, is a bit odd to me also, so I'll just hush about that.''

    How do you handle your colleague-supermodels?

    ''There is a lot of jealousy in the bussiness, but I keep myself away from all that.

    I don't pull out a lot of negative energy. But there are a lot of sweet girls among them also.

    Shy? NO.''

    What kind of teenager were you?

    ''I was really shy back then. I could get very red for the smallest issues. I wanted to become a teacher, a populair one. On school they used to say that I had to become a model, But sending pictures at agency''s, selling myself was so inappropriate to me. Eventually I did it after a while, modelling was my first vacationjob.''

    Where do you wanna be/stand in ten years?

    ''I don't think about that to much because I know now that things can go really different from what you expect. I wanna be really happy. That will be the only thing that matters at the end.''

    Are you enetering a huge life?

    ''yes, I don't know why But I just feel it!''

    You're feeling big?

    ''Ohh yes, everything comes kinda hard to me. (tears are filling her beautiful eyes)

    When im talking about myself, about things that pull my heart strings, tears are welling up kinda fast. That can be kinda annoying. Like now. Im easy emotional like this, not a bitchy/hard/untouchable person at all.

    I have an old soul, been through a lot of stuff and that makes me a bunch of emotions. ''

    What is your biggest fear?

    ''That everything will change. Everything is going so well know, I can't just take that for granted. ''

    Doutzen may be the best payed model of our country, but she did have predecessors from Holland. Actually The Netherlands never did bad on the runway. Apollonia van Ravenstein was Holland's first topmodel. With an age of 52, she can look back on a glamorous career. She acted in movie's, modeled naked for the first dutch ''Penthouse'' and made free road for Karen Mulder, Frederique van der Wal, Yfke Strum, Anouk Smulders and ofcourse Doutzen.
