As New York Fashion Week draws closer, we can't help but reflect on the past a bit. While many of us in new media can barely recall the days when Andre Leon Talley wasn't wearing a caftan or when the "The Trinity" was the biggest thing ever to hit the runway—these milestones and trends continue to shape our collective understanding of the fashion industry's evolution. Christy Turlington, Iman and Linda Evangelista set the stage for Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen and Karlie Kloss. To celebrate the kick-off of NYFW on February 6, we're looking back at some of very first runway shows of the most iconic models from the last 30 years.
