she needs to do something quick, I love her but she is becoming boring. VS does not promote her perfectly, I cant believe they would equate her with people like Selita and Izabel, who are not even in the same league. She needs to do some high fashion campaign or threaten to leave VS so they get scared and in return make her the lead angel

Listen, I do think Karolina is beautiful. But when compared to Izabel and Selita, she's plain. Izabel is naturally sexy, in the Brazilian way of sexiness, and Selita looks at the camera in a way that I it could melt ice.

As for being lead Angel, in my opinion Adriana or Alessandra deserve the title, because they're working for VS longer than Karolina has. And they are, along with Izabel, the two most beautiful models VS has. Not forgetting of course, Ana Beatriz Barros (who deserves to be an angel more than Miranda does) and Jeisa Chiminazzo.

(And, since I've mentioned at least five different Brazilian models in one post, I wonder if one day they're gonna open a store here in Brazil, since most of their cast is from here. I remember Ana Beatriz telling a Brazilian magazine that, when someone walks in VSFS backstage, all the person hears is Portuguese. This made me so proud of my country!)

To be quite honest with you, when you say that Izabel and Selita is better looking that Karolina, I would not object your view. But if you say KK is plain, then i totally disagree

I suspect that, without intending to offend anyone, is becos of the "black factor" as some of the people i know call it. tyra is gone, so they need someone else to fill in, and she cannot possibly be brazillian. otherwise it wouldn't be fair, to be quite frank, although admittedly you brazillians are one of the most beautiful race on earth

As for lead angel, I think they should make the more established models to be it, ale or adriana, as you have already mentioned.

but in my opinion, i really dont think there's anything special about selita, people say KK doesn't do enough apart from VS, I think the same goes for selita as well

Tyra's dismissal left an opening for an African American model, and they chose Selita for the job. Nothing against Selita, she's very cute, but there are plenty of other beautiful afro models that could work for them.

However, Karolina is beautiful and now, with Gisele gone (²), her star is going to rise for sure. Last year she wore the six-million dollar bra on VSFS - isn't it a sign of how much they like her? Or am I mistaken?

I must say that here in Brazil, Karolina is more known as a VS model than anything else. With Adriana, Alessandra, Izabel, Ana and Gisele, it's not the same. Gisele is like Brazilian greatest model ever (I don't doubt this), and Izabel works for a denim brand called Iodice (she's looking soooo beautiful on the ads *.* I'll scan one of them for you guys someday).

I definitely love Izabel. I still can remember the first picture I've ever seen of her - she was blowing kisses with Alessandra and Adriana on the first Victoria's Secret's What's Sexy list... I thought she was so cute!

Karolina is definitely a model I like, but I love first and foremost my fellow Brazilians. I know it's highly unlikely for me to see them some day, but I think it's great they're so successful abroad.

KK is VS's "Head Girl" because she's been more successful than any of the other models there. i'm sure that's their reasoning. Adriana and Ale have been with VS for longer, but Karolina has accomplished more in terms of a modelling career. she's won "Model of the Year" and been on numerous Vogue, W, Elle covers, etc etc. They think she's more of a "name" and will draw more people. plus, she's a great spokesmodel.

in terms of actual usage though, i'd say that Ale is more like VS's head girl. they are using her for everything. all the promotions, and shoots, etc. Adriana has been left behind for sure.

i think it's unfair to say that Selita was hired just because she's black and they needed a black model. she has an incredibly fit and healthy body, gorgeous features, perfect skin, and a spectacular outgoing confident personality. she's perfect for the brand.

and they get some media's atention, oh yes of course everywhere is mentioned VICTORIA'S SECRET MODEL yes very interesting .....
