^you can't see it, but that guy is actually playing PacMan on his hanheld (very aggressively)...you just cant see it , because his hand is blocking our sight

back to something world cup related

Old news but Cambiasso and Zanetti out of Argentina squad. What say you about such a heinous, heeeinooooous crime, Baron? :actor:

^I'm massively disappointed! :mad:Zanetti's my Banfield boy too - he said he'd never play for another Argentino team when River and Boca inevitably came calling (couldn't resent him for going to Italy though).

Both he and Cambiasso (whom I rate anyway) have had stellar seasons with Inter, and their exclusion smacks of some sort of nefarious deed... :ermm: To be honest it could have been a lot worse though: I consider that Maradona didn't opt to take every Boca journeyman with him as some slim consolation; but there are still some incredibly weird selections/omissions. <_< (Probably go and win it now, and I shall have to partake of humble pie!)

How are Australia shaping up?

Italy will suck this year, but I don't care, I want to win next World Cup in Brazil.

i'm rooting for NL, ESP and an underdog team this year :p

(too bad Trinidad and Tobago didnt qualify ...their jerseys and their flag were neat :D)

I actually think Inter's Argentine contingent might have suffered by having Mourinho as their manager. While he's around, the players never get the proper credit. Any club in the world would kill to have the services of Eto'o, Lucio, Samuel, Zanetti, Cambiasso, Milito and Maicon (to name just a few), but the popular opinion seems to be that Jose took a useless bunch and turned them into European champions. Maybe Diego bought into that too. <_<

^You might be right - I think Diego could easily be influenced by things like that as he's shown little initiative otherwise!

Mourinho's in that curious camp - much like Simon Cowell, and Oprah - in which their knowledge (in the eyes of the general populace) seems to transcend what they're actually knowledgeable about. Therefore they become quasi-gurus about all manner of nonsense and are held in this mythical esteem... Beckham's another one, good footballer sure (but hardly 'great' - at least I don't think) but "mentor" to the England team - WTF???
