Interview With Nina Agdal: Cover Man (Winter 2013) + Behind The Scenes

So, a little over a month ago I had the opportunity to catch up with the oh so busy, and stunning Dane, Nina Agdal. If you’re a loyal follower of the blog, then you know that we kinda like this chick. ; )

 

The occasion was Cover Man, which latest “Winter 2013″ issue drops tomorrow and features a great editorial with Nina and some dope rides, shot by Rasmus Skousen.

 

I did a small interview with Nina on location and you can read the whole thing below and after the jump, and also preview some shots from the editorial and enjoy some behind the scenes shots as well.

Mads Emil: “When did you move from Denmark to the United States for real?”

 

Nina Agdal: “I moved back in September 2010, so 3 years ago.”

 

Mads Emil: “How often do you stop and think about, how wild it is and how fast it has gone with the great career you’ve already got?”

 

Nina Agdal: “Almost every day when I get up in the morning, then I think that I could have been in school right now, or I should have completed high school and probably continued in College. Where now I am never in the same place more than a few days at a time, so everything is always new. New people, new surroundings, new jobs and new experiences. So every morning I am reminded that everything is just so different than what it could have been, but it’s cool.”

 

Mads Emil: ”Was it your goal when you started as a model, to live the life that you do now? “

 

Nina Agdal: ”I actually thought that I was going to be away for 3 months and then come back to my school and “normal life,” but then I ended up booking some great jobs and earned some good money. So originally I should have been back for Christmas and back to school, but instead I moved permanently to The States. It was not what I had expected, but you never know with this business, if you are going to do well or if it will be a failure. You see a lot of that too.”

 

Mads Emil: “So any regrets so far?”  

 

Nina Agdal: ”No regrets so far – it’s amazing. Right now it’s what I want, because it’s now I can do it and have the opportunity.”  

 

Mads Emil: ”Denmark or USA?”  

 

Nina Agdal: ”Denmark. It’s where I’m from, but business wise, the United States because, for some reason they like me more over there, which of course is a good thing for me.”

 

Mads Emil: ”If you were not model what would you do? “ 

 

Nina Agdal: ”I would actually like to be a dentist.”

 

Mads Emil: ”What type of music do you listen to?”  

 

Nina Agdal: ”Right now I listen to a lot of Justin Timberlake and Miley Cyrus. I’m probably a Pop girl, but it changes frequently. I also like Rock and House music, so a little of everything.” 

 

Mads Emil: ”Do you care about the customers you work for, or is a job just another job?” 

 

Nina Agdal: ”Well I strive to give myself 100 percent to every job, but there are days when my mood lags a little bit or one or the other is wrong, just like everyone else. But every customer is equally important to me.”

 

Mads Emil: ”It’s probably hard to take a sick day?”

 

Nina Agdal: ”Yes, that’s hard. It requires a doctor’s not and so on, because there is a whole team that depends on me. So I have missed many things like weddings, funerals, birthdays etc., and of course it’s sad, but it’s part of the job.”  

 

Mads Emil: ”How did you start as a model?”

 

Nina Agdal: ”I was spotted when I was 14 years old, through a competition Elite Model Management had, which my mother and grandmother had heard about, and I entered. In the beginning, I worked a few years in Europe, and honestly I didn’t really like it, but I was also very young. Today I have become more comfortable with the job, and I feel much better about myself and the work as a model.”

 

Mads Emil: ”So today you love your job?”  

 

Nina Agdal: ”Yes, 100 percent. Right now I love my job. I take one day at a time, because you never know what happens tomorrow. But right now I focus 100 percent on modelling, and then everything else can wait.”

Actually she doesn't, last 8 years only 1 Cover has had a smaller breasted girl on the cover. To me she is perfect but trend has been busty girls

^That is so dumb in my opinion, big boobs are not hot in comparison to perfect boobs like Nina's. Her body is amazing, and she is so much hotter than the previous pair of big boobs that have gotten the cover the past two years. I would seriously take Nina and her smaller yet perfect boobs any day.
