Yeah I see the video about Candice opening. If true, I knew British Invasion would open the show! Figures now both Ale and Candy have gloves in that theme. Hopefully they leave them there!

 

It doesn't even have to be adriana because she has opened so much but... It needs to be someone powerful and not basic.

I really the Parisian theme should have opened. As Candice herself said, the first segment sets the mood for the whole show ... And the commercials were all shot during Parisian nights and that is the concept of the whole Christmas campaign and I thought the whole point of the show was to sell those bras & panties for Christmas?

 

But on the other hand, VS folks are so dumb that I guess they won't even show Paris in the Christmas commercials anyway

If VS has some sense then she should because she is the face of the Night perfume and she shot the commercial for it in Paris so it would be the smart thing to do. But we all know VS isn't smart like that. I do think it would be hilarious if Candice opens the British and Adriana opens the Parisian one and the segment closes the show.

 

We can probably run Behati out as opening that segment tho, she's walking the British one.

BUT Gisele is the only model who has ever opened the show with her fantasy bra. Its pretty clear what they're trying to do here.

 

Her walk isn't even bad, but boring and its not always about beauty. Especially when it comes to opening the show, its about having a strong presence.

 

Shit, the year candice opened with that ballet stuff, adriana ended up getting an enormous applause when she came out of that second segment. The audience wants to see something like that, not no self conscious model whose pretty like everyone else. Guess its a good thing she has the bra because its gonna distract from her walk. But i still prefer a powerful opener to really get things going

 

When it comes to opening beauty<power. Because every single model there is going to be beautiful anyways, there has to be something more. But thats my opinion

It still was so mediocre for opening the show, maybe the music didn't help alot since the song wasn't very Ballet, but she wasn't exciting, she didn't really pop

Yeah the walk was very slow and very relaxed...not like the va va voom..but maybe this year she'll do just that

 

Adriana is pretty good but I think she's a little over the top though..i like her fierce walk much better from like 2003 when she opened
