March 12, 20205 yr The last thing I saw about the Olympics was that the IOC said it can't be delayed beyond 2020 because the contract says that's when it has to happen. I did not see any explanation why the contract can't be amended to allow for the event to be moved to 2021. It is very common for contracts to be renegotiated or amended, so I'm not sure why this one can't be.
