I agree with you. And though I have many family members who did serve in war or peaceful times, I knew the military was not for me.

Ah maybe that explains the transition.   It went directly to marriage humor which which dropped the energy of the performance rather sharply.  

 

I'm not the biggest fan of Burr.  Too much of an angry asshole to me despite his skills as a comedian and a roaster.

The dog and the sex robot routines were pretty good (the middle of Paper tiger was tepid).  I rate the special a 3.5 out of 5

I like Rodriguez a lot. His work is mostly in the (end 60s)/70s. He's from the same era as Jim's.

 

I don't know why he didn't get famous (apart from South Africa), but his melodies/lyrics are both simple and fruitful at the same time.
