The Australian beauty donated a jumbo-sized US$100,000 last year to elephants who have suffered horrendous injuries by stepping on land mines. And now her generosity has enabled Friends of the Asian Elephant (FAE), based in Lampang, Thailand, to fund custom made replacement limbs for the stricken mammals. Soraida Salwala, Founder and Secretary General of the Friends of the Asian Elephant (FAE), said: "When I thanked her, Miss Kerr said she appreciated what my foundation was doing and she was happy to know about FAE and happy to help our good cause." Miranda is known for her love of animals and is very against animal testing. Her own organic skin care company KORA Organics refuses to test on animals. Not just a pretty face then.
