September 23, 201510 yr MIRANDA KERR IS ON SNAPCHAT BUT SHE DOESN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW HER USERNAME It’s a secret – for now. Everyone loves (and needs) a supportive partner. And apparently, being asupermodel and a Silicon Valley billionaire doesn’t bend the rules. So when we asked Miranda Kerr whether she uses Snapchat, the app co-founded by her 25-year-old billionaire boyfriend Evan Spiegel, the conversation went like this: Miranda Kerr: “I am [on Snapchat]. I’m not underneath my name.”Vogue Australia: “Is it a secret?”MK: “Well, yeah, it’s a secret.”VA: “So you’re not going to tell me your username?”MK: “I don’t want the world to know.”VA: “Fair enough.”MK: “Yeah, not yet.” There’s hope people. One day in the future, Miranda Kerr may tell us her username (in which case, with her permission, we will gladly pass it on to you). In the meantime, we have her glowing review of the app and her tips on how to use it. “I really love it. I just think it’s a really great service that you can have fun with. Like when you discover stories. You can just go on there and get a quick little peak at what’s going on,” she said. Kerr doesn’t follow brands or celebrities, preferring it as a tool to connect with friends. “I use it more for conversations with my friends and sending pictures. It’s really nice to have that because it really forces you to be in the moment. And what I love about the service is that it tells you when someone’s typing so you can be on there at the same time and you know. And you might video, and a lot of fun things like that.” Admitting to her that this writer is a non-user of Snapchat, Kerr really sold it (seriously, Mr Spiegel she’s your greatest spokeswoman). “And actually what’s really great about it is that you can actually save a message if you want to, but the other person will know if you’ve saved it, otherwise it’s, you know too quick. So that way, you’ll know if they’ve saved a message or not and you’ll know if it’s gone. It’s pretty transparent like that. And then if someone takes a screenshot, you know if they’ve taken a screenshot as well. But then you have the option of like how many seconds you want to send the photo.
