She got voted in for her body acceptance talk and because it is very politically correct to nominate her, gives the awards positive press.
July 9, 201510 yr ^ Nope, she got voted in because that show is fixed and they knew all along who was going to get nominated. Do you really think Robyn or Hailey have more fans than Barbara or any of the VS Angels? Nope. It's Nickelodeon being all "look! we support plus size! we're awesome!"
July 9, 201510 yr Yeah that's what im saying, we both agree. I meant it wasn't votes that got her in but what she represents which was the whole accept all body sizes in fashion stuff. I probably could have worded it less confusing. Sucks that almost all of these types of things are like that now and few rarely do go by fan votes instead of pre determined choices, screws over models like Barbara who have huge fanbases but aren't pushing some PC message or in the tabloids every day.
July 9, 201510 yr Teen Choice Awards have been like this for years and years. They have a target demographic and they make sure their "winners" can be there to accept the award months and months in advance. I'm sure that Gigi or Kendall will win.
